I left school at 16 without sitting any exams, believing my teachers when they said I was rubbish, couldnt do it, wouldnt amount to anything etc.......hah!
Only 1 teacher said I could easily manage a uni place, trouble is, when its just 1 person you dont tend to believe them :o.

    Today I have:
    • Been to free college course
    • Haircut with friend so a couple of quid cheaper than usual
    • Dinner is in slow cooker
    • Meals from stores, though I need a bit of salad to go with mine later, Aldi and wont buy anything else!
    • Boots - tights were half price, and 3 for 2, so spent a fiver, got a voucher, then got OH his No7 face scrub for £1.40 :T
    • Bought birthday cards and mothers day cards in the cheapy shop
    • 3 loads of washing on 30 and out on line :T
    • Job searched
    • Picked up a mystery shop for next week
    And I will:
    • Go shopping later, take mum with me to do hers, saving petrol
    • Read Martins email
    • Further job search and fill out apps
    • Sort my washing mountain and get it put away into drawers :o:rolleyes:
    • Look in pressie box for things for mothers day, will also hunt out cello and curling ribbon ready to make some twinks hob nobs for my mums on sunday morning

Cleosmum - Wow, well done you! Congratulations!

    4) Withdrew £10 from scratchies and immediately paid the sum off of CC.
    5) Sent off chocolate pouches for free cinema tickets.
    6) Used unfranked stamp.
    7) Went to work! Always forget that one.

  • Congrats CleosMum! That is an amazing result.

Not been on for a few days, but still trying to be good. Morning sickness is a kicking in a bit at the moment, and I'm feeling pretty shattered but other than that I am feeling great!

    Today's list then:

-Claim petrol money plus parking for meeting this morning
    -Free scratchies 20p+25p
-Sold two eBay items = £32 woohoo
    -Check for mystery shops
-Dig out a few more items to eBay on my days off this week.

Still a gorgeous day here and I am thoroughly enjoying sitting in the sun pouring through the window!

    Hello :)

I am also curious about these daily scratch things you guys do... where's more info / where do you do it at? :)

    - Brought lunch in from home
    - Transferred money from paypal into bank account
    - Have some ebay things ending today
    - Listed couple more things on ebay and sorted out some future things to sell too
    - Wrote letter to cancel a credit card which I don't need

So good on that front I guess, but having a really miserable day divorce/solicitor-wise. :( I think I've spent about 3 hours today either in tears in the ladies loo or in tears in our meeting room over various phone calls I didn't want to have in my open plan office. Oh dear. Still, at least it's time to go home now. I'm meant to be going out but think I will stay in, and that'll save money too then eh?

    hello everyone.

Beautiful sunny day here. Warm too. Only got work today - free night tonight so going to make a start on pegging out the garden for how I want to design it. I want to make the raised beds at the weekend (although still havent sourced wood). Going via diy shop tonight for potting compost and some of their free trays/pots to start planting the seeds for putting out in a couple of weeks. Is it possible to make a cheap propagator using cling film?

    Hi Angel Flower

I raided Homebase for their containers on Sunday. I thought that I could use them as a temp home between seed sewing stage and going into large pots - although they are not ideal, they will do for the meantime (and of course they were free)

I did buy some seed trays (with little sections) to grow the seeds. I ran out of propergator lids, so used large sandwich bags instead. They seemed to do the trick.

    Take care,
    Candy xx
