Would love to come but got uni exams aroud this time so will have head in books. Though if as one friend has said they should be over by then might come down for the day as only in liverpool.

I would have liked to come but dh is off work with a broken hand.....again.....it is the right hand this time!!!!!! Cannot leave him as he cannot manage at the mo and as he is on ssp it is a not a good time.

Ticklemouse: While I'll still be looking at travelling by National Express and returning on the overnight service on the Saturday evening, I might now consider coming up on the Friday and staying over on the Friday night. Do you know if the hotel manager would do me the same deal as those of you spending Saturday night?

I would love to come and the dates are O.K. for me. I would be driving from the Medway area of North Kent and have spare seats if anyone needs them .I have a Citroen Picasso that will take two comfy in the back and a spare seat in the front.
I'm not fussed where it is, as I quite enjoy driving. Let me know where and when and I will be there

Hi all.

I don't know how many people are going to be staying o/n on saturday. So far I think I have 7 or 8 staying at the hotel, (plus ancasta and partner staying at another hotel - freebie, so very moneysaving ) Then I have another 7 or so who will be turning up for the day. Thus it looks like we will be spending £20 pp pn on the rooms - which I don't think is too bad really.

I think you all need to contact the hotel directly as deposits will have to be paid - you can try and negotiate discounts for other nights if you want. . Get booking folks - otherwise it'll be me and kiwichick (and as she's incommunicado, I'm assuming she's got her DH to babysit for the night ) I'm expecting the hotel owner to ring me in a day or so - I'm hoping there will be some other bookings by then cos the poor man will be expecting more than the 2 of us to stay

I've pm'd the MSE team - so who knows, we may get some of them along too
