Do you have any ears left hun? :rotfl:

(No, we didn't gossip about you - who are you anyway?? LOL)

I'm off to start a new thread about the meet, which was fab. Lots of pics were taken but I'll have to find out how to download them onto my pc first. Unfortunately, there were no cyber-cafes in Blackpool - we did ask.

    Expect updates shortly :)

    Hiya OSers

Ok - we came, we saw and we conquered ....... Blackpool, that is.

What's the goss? .......... grab a cuppa, pull up a chair and watch this space :rotfl:

All in all I think we had a great time - I certainly did and it was fab putting names to faces. So, what are they like? What do they look like? What did you do?

Let me say this...... Nels really DOES have red eyes and blue hair. Occasionally you will see pics of her on here with blonde hair - that is a wig!! Nelski is as Nelski sounds - bonkers, full of fun but really does have a slow cooker. (Can't persuade her into a wally trolley though :D)

Bargain Rzl really does swear like a trooper. She sat beside me on The Grand National on the pleasure beach and I couldn't walk for laughing when I got off - if she said the 'F' word once, she said it 100 times - Ok, every time we hit a bump :rotfl: (Roller coasters are not her thing) So - she's a posh bird wot can swear! Lovely girl who I got on with a treat - but she never did sing for us. :(

JackieO - daft old bat - says it all really :D Nope - she's our new mum. I think we should vote her the OS board mum cos she's fantastic. She certainly has 3 new daughters. Great sense of humour, good for a laugh.

Monkeygirl - ahhh, lovely mg :) Very quiet but such a sweety and Nels wanted her gorgeous curly black hair. Hun - I hope we didn't wear you out too much. I came by the hotel before I went to say goodbye but couldn't see ya and the door was shut - I take it you'd gone back to the station.

Caterina - a true OSer. Lovely lady who now knows what a 'kiss me quick' hat is. :D Gave us great tips on knitting, how to make your own Earl Grey tea and apparently managed to find some good bargains in Cleveleys (I didn't see what you bought hun) Oh, and if you want to learn how to haggle, go and see Caterina - a true queen :D

squeaky - our beloved BG. Hopefully he'll be around on OS again soon cos this place would fall to bits without him. Looked after our monkeygirl and drank the bar dry of John Smiths :D squeaky also did his best to convert the hoteliers to Old Style - we'll see if they appear :D

apprentice tycoon - too classy for us (only joking - don't abandon us!!) - maybe that's cos we met her when we were on the pleasure beach, having been roller-coastered to death, so she looked all glam. Lovely lady and I enjoyed meeting her - shame about your grotty lunch though.

chickadee - The OS babe. Looked nothing like we all expected - far too glam, all smiles, but she only lives about 5 miles from me, so I expect we'll meet up again soon.

Me - apparently I sound on here nothing like I am (is this good or bad?) I'm a nutter - that's about right. I'll let the others describe me I think. :D

Ok - I'll start posting the pics from my camera on here and the others will be along later with theirs......

THIS (Nelski, monkeygirl and squeaky)and THIS (TM, monkeygirl and Bargain Rzl) is the first night in the hotel bar - well, it would have been rude not to have helped the owners out by purchasing the drinks they had got in for us.

THIS is Bargain Rzl, monkeygirl, Nelski and me toasting our good fortune at winning the music quiz Neil (the hotelier) put on for us :D

We let Caterina (on left) squeaky and JackieO win the third quiz :D:DHere

The first link doesn't work (for me anyway) but the second photo is fab! You all look like my sort of people (give or take a decade or two - in your favour ;) ).

I'm not stalking, I've been following all the Meet lead-up, and would have loved to come along. Could you make the next one a little nearer the Midlands, and also pref not the weekend before I am off to Coventry to meet some cybermates from another site!

Delighted that you all had such a great time - I'm really envious. I love Meets - been to about a dozen and never met an axe murderer yet! :D .
    :D I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe :D

Aww it looks like you had a great time, and great weather to boot :)
Work like you don't need money,
Love like you've never been hurt,
And dance like no one's watching

Ok - Day 2 - Caterina and JackieO went to Cleveleys and Bargain Rzl, Nelski and myself went to the Pleasure Beach.

THIS is after The Grand National. Rzl isn't singing - she's using her fave 'F' word reserved for scary rides :rotfl:

After being roller-coastered to death - we joined the local tradition of tasteful body art ( a must for female parties in Blackpool, I'm informed) HERE
