BTW I will be very disappointed if a northern seaside mini-break doesn't involve at least one helping of fish and chips - preferably on the sea front

Why do I have a mental image of my first encounter with Squeaky being when he staggers from the car covered in red lipstick kiss-marks, crying "Help... me..." before collapsing in a heap?
oh yes fish and chips out of the paper - gorgeous!
As for squeaky its a fair cop he will insist on wearing his "Kiss me quick hat"0 -

I can imagine staggering from the car...
..and I can imagine being covered in lipstick...
..but try as I might I cannot imagine myself crying for help!

I should think you'll need a brandy to start off with.

Ok this may well be a silly suggestion so I'll suggest it anyway
. How many OS'er use pigsback.com and roughly how many points do we all have? All I was thinking was maybe some of us could get some of the leisure vouchers so if we went to a Brewers Fayre or whatever they are called or Pizza hut etc ( you get the idea) we could maybe plough our leisure vouchers into the kitty. As It will be easier if its a big meet up to pay for stuff in a group rather than on an individual basis so just divide the total bill by how every many people. Not sure if that makes any sort of sense of its an idea we could play around with but it was a thought

Oooh - forgot to ask. Are there any vegetarians or others with specific other dietry requirements? I know kiwichick is a veggie, but if I make enquiries at (suitably priced OS type) establishments, it would help.
Don't worry whitty, we won't be spending a fortune (unless you want to) and please, no-one be afraid to say they don't want to spend over a certain amount - we won't ask why, it's none of our business0 -

Well hopefully I shall have Whitty, Bargainrzl, and Caterina with me when we arrive on Friday ,around tea-time. Blackpool won't know whats hit it.;)
I eat anything that looks remotely edible, as I was brought up with rationing,so I am easy to please.:p
I'm sure we will all get along beautifully, and I can't really see anyone of us spending a fortune as if we were tempted we would be talked out of it by our fellow super-savers. :money: I draw the line at pot-noodles though .:D .
Starting the countdown 30 DAYS to go:T0 -
