Equita Bailiffs and Council Tax Arrears
Comments

I have e-mailed council, equita and OFT today. I am still livid about it all!0
-
Equita have replied to my email, via letter saying they will not deal with anything, but to go through the bailiff allocated to me.
No word from the local councillors, even though I have left countless messages.
No word yet from the council - re: taking the arrears back, but to be honest I didn't expect a quick response there!
The door will be closed. I will not talk to the bailiffs. They will HAVE to communicate via written response as far as I am concerned.0 -
if they are are refusing a breakdown of charges please pm Herbie21 ASAP.
This seesm to be the latest virus in the bailiff world.

I got myself into some bad council tax debt and I am currently paying it back, I have a settlement agreed however I wondered if anyone could help with the following.
Is it one of these debts that i could agree a figure to pay it off in full and that figure may be lower than what I owed?0 -

Er...no...sorry!
The only way I know of paying a percentage of council tax debt is to chuck it into an Administration Order.0 -
what if no one responds to you re paying the full amount? can the council just be called and paid over the phone?0
