I have Morphy Richards ones; had them4 years now and they're still going strong; they went down from £90 to £30...gimme a mo and I'll look on Amazon. They're really good.0

OK, it's the i-Create one. I got mine in Superdrug and have seen it in TK Maxx but Amazon does not do the model I had; they only have the more slimline model; that would be ok for finer hair; mine's thick so I need the wider one...0

In your case it's probably best to try and persuade your OH to shop around a bit. Do you have a good carvery near you? They are often very reasonable. Thanks to everyone who posts comps, I love winning prizes big and small

Every year for the last 10 years (the time me & DH have been together) we have always gone somewhere for both birthdays together where his Grandma choses, that's partly why DH booked for us to go to Florida this time next year (23rd March we fly out til well into April) so then I can have a nice birthday for MY birthday ITMS. She's a lovely woman but won't walk far, won't go to town (well very rarely!) will only go to places local to her & with her being so ill lately DH wants to make it somewhere she'll be happy which I can understand (at one point it looked like she'd be in a home soon, that's how bad she was getting).
Where we are going for Mother's Day (Toby Carvery, MIL's choice which is fine by me) is too far for his Grandma to go & when we go for a meal at Easter it's in the next town so I know she won't go there either (I have family coming down from Durham to that one so can't really cancel when they have booked hotel) that's either Brewer's Fayre or Table Table not sure which now (some stayed BF whilst other's changed to TT) so again not too expensive. MIL is now going to see if her Mum will come into town but it's about 5 miles from town so unless she agrees to getting the bus (which she is finding harder to get on) it's going to be an expensive taxi. I've suggested doing nice meal at hers but he doesn't seem happy about that cos she's said she wants to go out - I can't win!!!!!!!!2023 wins - Rice Krispies, Avene Micellar Gel, Barbie Toy, £20 Apple Gift Card, KFC 6 piece bargain bucket, Chloe Nomade perfume, Barbie Toy (second one), Sanctuary Spa Sleep Balm, E45 Moisturising Lotion, Trolls Hamper, 12 Tonie Characters, Sure deodorant, Good Home Utensil holder, £5 Costa Gift Card, Neutrogena Micellar Jelly, Soap & Glory Mascara, Persil capsules,0 -
