Well I am back from the printers - sometimes I can be thick how can I possibly expect to pay £69 plus VAT for 500 business cards:rolleyes: I ended up paying £205.50 inc VAT for 500 of them but I have chosen an elegant card which has 2 really straight sides and then it has one curved corner. They will be printed on both sides and they are going to jiggle with my logo a bit but still keeping the two intertwined hearts - they will also say - Bespoke Wedding & Events Planner (see I am branching out already:j) I have also spoken to them about my website and when my current contract comes to an end, I will switch to them as they can do my site for £399 plus VAT with free hosting for 12 months and then charge me £99 per annum thereafter and they will give me some software to allow me to change the pages myself....hurrah:j
Well best crack on - I need to strip the bed and remake it - its good drying weather today and I can put a load of washing on.

Welcome 3Way:D
Now self-employed peeps do you fancy earning your lunch at least? I do surveys for P1necone (often referred to as PC as they don't like being discussed on forums) they pay me in luncheon vouchers so each survey earns me £3 of luncheon vouchers which can be used in all sorts of places including Waitrose. Now PC have emailed me today asking me to invite friends so if you want to join and earn some luncheon vouchers (or you can have money paid into your bank) then PM me with your email address. Only one person can apply per household. I like to be paid in luncheon vouchers as I can use these when I am out such as when I go to Starbucks etc.0 -
I'm a member, i dont get surveys very often but its worth it when you do! You can use the luncheon vouchers at Tescos which is v handy. Join up while you get the chance, the banner is very hard to find and invitations dont come up very often0

You can use them in Morrisons, Sainsburys, Garfunkels, Eat, M&S, Waitrose, Boots, Starbucks, KFC, Caffe Uno, McDs, Bella Pasta, Tesco, Nandos, Coffee Republic, Iceland, Yates's, Asda, Greggs, J D Wetherspoon and Bagel Factory and loads of other places.:cool:0

Morning all!
After my productive anxst free morning yesterday my OH who had yesterday and today off work as well as the Easter weekend came to talk to me about finances and was a rather flippant about finances and whether he would get 1500 back from his old landlord or not and whether it really mattered. He has a lot less debt than me and about a quarter of it is due to him supporting me when ive been unemployed. I got rather upset about my finances again and that did spoil the afternoon a bit, so when I was a bit disgruntled in the middle of the afternoon about the amount of work I had left he promised to take me to Pizza Express for dinner cos its Orange Wed as Id been working from 9-7. Silly man when we got there his mobile was dead so we couldnt get the offer! and it was packed with ppl waiting for a table so we just ended up elsewhere for twice the price. Oh well!!
This morning I have been working since 7 45 *polishs halo* but only cos I have to spent most of the morning at the hospital with OH whilst he sees a specialist.. finally I might get a decent nites sleep in my own bed! (OH has suspected sleep apnea... about 50% of the time I end up on the bed in the living room)
but the agency has work that needs doing today, so I've got to try and fit in around everything else... but all work is goodTomorrow I get to raise her a nice invoice with 14 pieces of work on it
yay
Little poll for everyone else... will you be taking the day off tomorrow as it's a bank holiday and if so/not, why
I'm not planning on doing any actual work 2moro, but I will invoicing and catching up on some things I havent had chance to do this week, like sending my CV to more agencies.
