All sounding good, Nohope. I hate cleaning too. Doesn't it feel wonderful when it's all sparkling though? At least, from what I can remember, it does. I like to think I have "higher" things on my mind, but really I'm a lazy cow and hate housework.
I hope the work comes through OK. Having that to look forward to will give you such a boost. It's good news it's starting earlier than expected. Hopefully the income will enable you to have a bit more peace of mind ... and keep your lovely car on the road. Oh, and some decent fruit for you."Green pastures are before me,
Which yet I have not seen;"
I'd love to be a good example - instead, I am a horrible warning.0 -
Amatheya, I know I've said it before, but I do love your blog. It is just so great to see how your paintings develop.
Horace, how are you hoping to make money from your breakfast club if you aren't going to charge subs? It sounds a brilliant idea and I'm sure there will be lots of people wanting to join you. Good luck with it. I'll be really interested to hear how it is developing."Green pastures are before me,

Ah, B****y CAR. How i hate that machine. Roll on april. Its touch and go whether i'll have the money for the car tax again. Still, one day, i won't have to pay car tax at all.
You made me laugh. Does it say something about the way your mind works, when your self employed. Housework and food, are always at the bottom of any list.
Mine seems to be, go to work to keep the car on the road so i can go to work at the moment :rotfl:Debt free - Is it a state of mind? a state of the Universe? or a state of the bank account?

Keep pushing to get your cards priced up..absolutely no point in having them printed and not on sale..get the job finished. I am about to take some pics of some stuff to ebay so kicking myself also..thanks for the motivation.

Thanks for that Wordsmith. I've only been here for 5 months wondering how you read people's blogs. I could'nt find any instructions !!!!!! and i've asked before. How thick, or computer illiterate, am i.
Wow, Amatheya. I don't have time to peruse fully, right now. I'll be back later. I love the geisha. I'm the world's worst artist, and i admire anyone with this talent and patience.Debt free - Is it a state of mind? a state of the Universe? or a state of the bank account?

Hi everyone, hope you're all having a productive day
Thnks for all your lovely comments about my blogThat Geisha's my favorit painting, if only I could paint that well all the time! I'm thinking I'll do a similare one to sell after I've finished the dog I'm working on.
Anyway, so last night I managed to do some painting and start making graphics for my website so that I can sell my cards. Hopefully I'll finish both the painting and the graphics on Friday and I'll be able to work out my pricing and put the cards up for sale at the weekend. It's a bit frustraiting at the moment as I'm at the paint, paint, paint stage of things which means I'm spending money on materials and framing but not actually selling much as most of my work is practice rather than professional. Oh well, I guess everyone has to start somewhere...
Right, I'm off to spend the rest of my lunch break looking at houses I can't afford to buy! lol0 -
I wish i had the money to buy the geisha.
I love it.
Have you read Memoirs of a Geisha? You must have.Debt free - Is it a state of mind? a state of the Universe? or a state of the bank account?

I will make some greetings cards from the next painting so you could always buy one of those
Yep, I've read Memoirs of a Geisha, it's one of my favorite booksRed Lotus is good too, it's allong the same style but set in rural China instead... it is quite a lot darker though.
Anyway, no work for me today. I've spent all day tiling my mothers bathroom, I've got to go back to grout, paint and lay a new floor tomorrow... I'm so tired and hurty I just want to go to bed!!!
Hope you're all having a productive weekend :beer:0
