My Mum used to tell me that you lose one tooth for each baby. Happened to me - had one rmeoved within 6 months of my first child. mamnaged to hold onto to a tooth after my second but only just. think it is becasue babaies take so much of your bodies nutirients that your teeeth end up in poor shape. At least going to the dentist was free for 12 months after giving birth - that is if you can get on their books!

  • OMG Nzmegs, what a trauma! I would have been exactly the same, I hate the flappiness of birds I even get stressy if I have to walk close to a pidgeon in the street incase it might fly up in my face :o. At least it's gone now though, but I can imagine it's left a fair old mess behind.

JPWhittle, try not to panic about your stall, I'm sure that you'll have more than enough stuff. My mum and I both always feel the same whenever we do a fair, but we always end up afterwards thinking we've actually brought too much and made our tables look crouded. Have you tried grouping together all the things you're taking, to see how much it looks when it's all together?

Horace, how completely frustrating about your emails  what a
nightmare! I'm not surprised you're angry. Will they gove you any kind of compensation?

My week as been good so far, my new batch of business cards have arrived, and my new laptop charger - which is a relief, as I felt a bit like I'd had a part of me removed, not being able to use the laptop - I was lost! Still at least I didn't suffer any injury from the original charger, which, whilst I was having a look at it trying to figure out why laptop wasn't charging, smoke and sparks started coming out of the side of the wire
much work to be done - new sig coming soon...

Monkey - no compo for me but they didnt charge and will shift my website when my freebie hosting expires and I will be able to have more than one email address for the business...apparently it was my fault for having a blueyonder account to have the thing point at:mad:

I have a list of jobs to do now that is as long as my arm and loads more visits - I am barely at home for the next two weeks:eek: I am not complaining - I just want to start getting paid for things now:rolleyes:

Thats great Horace, thank you - will have a look as I could easily be in Belfast for 8am and leave at 9 to get back to open up at 9.30. I have a new member of staff starting part time on Tuesday - she's going to do 2 mornings a week for me till Christmas with the option of doing more if needed. I cannot cope on my own with everything on the run up to Christmas and my Saturday angel is at school during the week.

Really busy on Saturday but was a bit quiet Thursday and Friday. I have been sensible and bought in Christmas stock and paid up front for it so i will have no bill to pay out in 30 days but I can't afford to miss the boat either.

Glad you got the email sorted H - today i had 25 and not one of them any use!

evening all, its gone very quiet on here recently, finally sorted out my public liabilty insurance, after finding something that half covers what i do as no one seems to insure tiara and favour makers i have gone with jewellery designer, its about the closest thing i could find to get my insurance, why couldnt they just do outright public liability insurance? just hope this will now cover me for everything i do, either that or hope i never have anything go wrong.
    hows everyone else this evening?
back to comping in 2017, fingers crossed
