Purple - what are the shoes like? Are you going to post a pic? I think that I would wear the shoes just the once to see what they were like - I don't ever remember paying £450 for a pair of shoes:eek: (your's are fab freebies though:cool:).

I try not to have treatments at the spa because they are too pricey but a dip in the outdoor jacuzzi, a stand in the shower (it has different settings) and a loll about in the sauna does the trick for me followed by a spot of lunch:D

So what's it like being a member of the jetset?:D

Purple - sounds like you've had a fabulous time as well as it being good for business though i'm sure it was hard work. The shoes sound fab!!

Horace - do they ever to half price days or taster sessions that you could take advantage off. I did a waxing course once but i've stuck to the holistic side of treatments as i'd wince everytime I waxed anyone....pathetic I know! The only waxing I do now is eyebrows as it's not too painful for people!

Two of todays clients booked up until Christmas which is good. Once I get a few people booking in advance everyone starts to book in as they don't want to miss their favourite slots. It just means I need to be organised and find out when harvest festival etc and put it in my diary so I can go and watch anything going on at school.

I managed a bit more paperwork and aim to do a couple of hours tomorrow - probably on an assignment. I really must get some more done!

Right, off to feed people! xx

Oohhhh Purple! Paris, America and posh shoes!!! How the other half live! Am delighted the trip went well for you, even though you did not smuggle me in your suitcase!

Quieter in here today so I have made a bit of use of my time and printed out my point of sale stuff for my new stock. I worked out last night my daily running costs and how much profit I need to pay the overheads each day, week, month and year (reading DM's book has gave me a swift kick up the whatsit) and I am now noting every item sold in a file (did up template myself as thought would be cheaper) and I can keep track of the profit on each item and each day etc. I think it will also let me see what I am selling the most of and where my best profit margins are. If I need to adjust the price then I can - hey I sounded like a business woman then not a nit wit!

Mudbath, glad bookings are going well!
I have done it again - how rude - welcome Nicki - I like the sound of your jewelry. I could give you and mabel some interesting shaped parts of the OH to make into earings at the rate I'm going! Theres a thought!

I had a very surreal moment when out at dinner and realised everyone around me were millionaires many times over. They were talking about their vinyards and yatchs and summer homes here there and everywhere! Here I am up to my eyes in debt! It did give me a shove into clearing the debt faster tho! ok i'm rambling now i'll stop

Purpleroses - don't you have a yacht and vineyard? I wear my life belt permanently (some people call it a spare tyre round my gut but I like to think differently) and at the minute with the weather my yacht is an Audi. My vineyard is the wine rack in the kitchen. I shall harvest tonight!!!!! My summer home is a tent in the garden. Or the shed. I could take the vineyard into the summer home..... now we're talking!

Well done Star!!!! Thats great news! Just in time to be finished to let you enjoy the run up to Christmas!

    Well done Star...whoo hoo:D

Purple - I thought you had a yacht already (the one that you float on the local pond:rotfl:). Millionaires are millionaires because they are usually tight and don't spend plus they have good accountants - maybe that will be me one day (I wish but as long as I have enough money to live on and maybe put down a deposit on a house, I will be happy:D).

Well done TCM - you sound like a business woman:D I have started looking at my business plan as it needs re-doing. As for making jewellery out of your OH - you could make a purse (like the kangaroo scrotum purses I saw in Oz - beautiful soft leather and quite roomy:rotfl:).

Mudbath - the day spa sometimes do vouchers for members where we get money off but I have missed out on a lot of mine because I haven't been able to go :( I do get priority booking however which is one of the advantages of being a member, I get free access to two gyms (one in Worcester and the other in Malvern - both of which are too far for me to travel:rolleyes:). The only bits of me that I have waxed are my underarms (I am allergic to hair removal creams) and my eyebrows, I dont need my legs doing because those hairs are fine and I admit I have never bothered even shaving:eek: Tomorrow I am off to the local beauty parlour for a Dermalogica facial (I havent had one of those for an absolute age) - the day spa uses Phytomer (I cannot stand the stuff) or Aromatherapy Associates but I think that £60 for a facial is a bit too much:eek:
