    hi GDB
we have packers arriving next week, we will be in hotel for a couple of nights and my mum is too far away... its just all the worry and the fact that our money until we complete is nearly all gone! the bank have kept my payment card now :( just have cashpoint only. how shortsighted considering we are about to dump a whole load of cash into their bank

Draw what you need from now until completion from the cashpoint in one lump sum if they will let you? That replaces the worry about cash with the worry about burglary, but I'd still do it. You should get a good discount for paying people in cash :)
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

So glad you have a house now, is that here or abroad? That is great that you have negotiated the debt down a bit. Not long to go now.
