yep and have a completion.
That must be a burden off your mind. Decision made and everything going ahead. 3 weeks is not long to organise things, so I feel for you especially with everything falling on your shoulders. Perhaps you can get some help and moral support from friends and relations.
Are you going to move everything you own abroad? Will your house buyers buy any of it from you? I have no idea what to do if moving abroad. Every time we've moved it's been quite local and we've moved all our clutter with us. I guess you have to drastically declutter and very quickly? Do you have an overseas removals firm? Will they be packing? Is it actually cheaper to leave it all behind and buy new in the country you're moving to?
Whooops! I was starting to panic there, and I'm not even moving. Anyway, you've proved an extraordinarily capable and resilient lady, so I'm sure you'll sort it out brilliantly. Just remember: 3 weeks and then you can have your well-earned breakdown. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

good luck with your decluttering. as someone who bought about 12 large boxes of carp with us to new zealand, it is worth the pain of decluttering now lol

Oh, I'm sorry, but I'm not surprised that you are suffering from anxiety and nerves. It is nerve-racking, so your reaction is completely normal. Can you throw a modest amount of money at this to sort it out? Some practical suggestions:
1. Book a hotel for a few nights, so you and the kids don't have to get on a plane the day the house is sold. Or are you planning to stay with mum?
2. Arrange a good removals firm to pack for you.
3. Put some stuff in mum's garage temporarily? The removals firm will take it round for you, probably at very little cost if she is local.
Good luck.No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
hi GDB
we have packers arriving next week, we will be in hotel for a couple of nights and my mum is too far away... its just all the worry and the fact that our money until we complete is nearly all gone! the bank have kept my payment card nowjust have cashpoint only. how shortsighted considering we are about to dump a whole load of cash into their bank
