Morning mrscmr, my mum always quoted this poem, and when I feel overwhelmed, I like to get out into the countryside and just watch, it always helps me to get grounded. Hugs as always x.

Sometimes we so caught up fire-fighting that we forget to enjoy life.

WHAT is this life if, full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare?—
No time to stand beneath the boughs,
And stare as long as sheep and cows:
No time to see, when woods we pass,
Where squirrels hide their nuts in grass:
No time to see, in broad daylight,
Streams full of stars, like skies at night:
No time to turn at Beauty's glance,
And watch her feet, how they can dance:
No time to wait till her mouth can
Enrich that smile her eyes began? A poor life this if, full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare.

wow ladies... just catching up as have been on the coal face all day working hard... but achieving... u do know what i mean by that ... i mean u dont think im actually a coal miner? um nope u dont i hope!

anyway 1. what a beaut poem.. how thoughtful and very apt! 2. SH ... u must be some sort of psycic... dunno how to spell that... very insightful comments....

but all in all a v good day hard working but good xxxx i think desp housewives on tonight... if so then im gonna go put up my feet!

Hi Mrsmcr..I have been following...promise but haven't had much headspace/time to waffle on here....

The first thing I thought (after I read the 'too much to do/depressed' thread) was you have deff cracked the 'Make more money' bit but have you sorted the 'cutting back'....I know you have on personal expenditure but on The Interest?

Put the house on and see what happens as I am sure a downsize on property will be fine but also check you can port the mortgage or get a new lower mortgage first.

I am guessing you are selling Cyprus in euro? So you cou;d really drop the price to make a quick sale but not 'lose ' on exchange rate?

Any chance you can just get shot if your car yet?

quick up date then i off to bed.

house has a great chunk of equity ... but thats not the reason... if we sell uk house then we clear uk mortgage and all our debts... leaving us with income in cyprus and small mortgage and money left over... OH has been asked to stay where he is perm and wants us all to go... i am happy for various reasons to do this and excited to be free of debt. cyprus house mortgage in swiss francs and nothing moving on that one... so ... happy to look at other options...

yes FC123 ... spending much much reduced... could do more... but u know... how it is! had a better week this week and not really dep at all... maybe just overwhelmed! xxx
