    Hi MrsC,

it is not hpt5 as I wrote but htp5 and the link where I get it is

    http://www.healthmonthly.co.uk/products_search.php?search_string=HTP

You can get it other health food shops as well but this is probably cheapest (and high quality). It brightens up my mood without the effect of the glass wall - because it is not the pill that induces better state of mind (including better and deeper sleep) but the seratonin that it helps your body produce. I take 1 pill last thing at night and it works very fast - within about two-three days. After taking it for couple of months I rest and than take when needed again.

I have never been depressed but my second son is - and it did help him a lot (as a young man he obviously did not wish to go on anti-depresants).

Sorry, forgot to say - I do take the 100mg ones.

Off for a run now - this is pretty good as well.

Maybe just taking a step back for one day will give you the space to get some perspective? You almost just need to breathe out and just "be" for a while. Have you ever done yoga? It would be perfect for you.

It's is absolutely no wonder you are meeting yourself coming back, with lots of children, a husband who is away, a fledgling business (aka - another baby) AND other paid and pressured work aswell as the D word!

If it's The Secret you are taking about, there are lots of books and ideas similar to that, I think it's very interesting, the Laws of Attraction, What you focus on grows (good or bad) etc.....

You will still see your friend and I'm sure you have another you could meet for coffee and a chat? Meeting friends is a great de-stresser. And don't doubt yourself, I'm sure you are brilliant :)
  • Yes mac girl it is i have adopted a few of the ways and seen it has made a difference :D x

You Can Heal Your Life is kind of the same deal and is one of my favourite books. It can be taken with a pinch of salt, but the basic premise is really just positive thinking, so that's all good stuff in my book :)
  • Have you heard of harv eker ?> hes a real guy the millionaire mind ? we have been using his jar system and already we have noticed a difference... just reading ask and it will be given abraham hicks x

I really liked the power is within you by Louise L Hay too - very helpful! Again I ditched the new agey stuff but took what was helpful to me

    hi mrsc

anti-ds are not the end of the world. I am on them and they help me function so that no-one would know including kids... Generally I am happy despite or because of tablets....

if you were a diabetic you would take your insulin etc why is there such a stigma around anti-ds?

I think from your diary the root problem is that because of all your debts and your nature you are trying to do too much - trying to do more than any one and I mean any one is physically capable of doing. If I were to give you a prescription it would be to be kinder to yourself.... Give yourself some regular free time where you get to chill, see friends and do nothing - otherwise I think long term you are storing up health and anxiety problems for yourself....
