Hi mrscmr - Hope you are doing OK today.
It is sad when people move away, I remember I had a friend at work and we used to go to the pub on a weekend as we both fancied the same guy (he was the Manager). Her parents moved to Ireland and she went there on holiday and I knew she wanted to move over there, she rang up work one day to say she had got a job and wasn't coming back, I was so upset as she was the only friend I had to go out and about with and it meant the end of my social life and I remember driving to work the next day, driving round the back road and driving back home again as I was so upset, it sounds silly now but I'm a very emotional person but it felt like the end of the world at the time.
I know it's not the same as seeing her every day but at least you can call and chat to her, I bet she is upset too to be leaving her friends behind.

I'm hoping the weather is good tomorrow as I'm off to the Car Boot Sale at Taplow to find some bargains. My eldest two are away at my parents for a week, OH is off tomorrow as it's bank holiday and he's taken this week off so we can do some sorting out and tidying up while they are away, so I'm heading off by myself which will be lovely as I won't have little ones moaning they want to go on the bouncy castle and get donuts.
I went to the car boot sale at Denham on Saturday with DD3 in the pushchair, was going to leave at 8.45 but then realised I had forgotten to wrap 3 parcels on Friday so had to do them and go to the Post Office, just as we walked into where all the sellers were it starting spitting with rain so I had to walk round quickly (it wasn't very big as the weather wasn't brilliant). I did manage to get some good Next clothing bargains for DD3, so I'm hoping to get some more bargains tomorrow.Sealed Pot Challenge #0160 -

Dear Mrscmr,
I have posted on your thread once to say that I read it and thought 'wow'! What attracted me initially was that we seem to be almost exactly the same age (if my calculations are not wrong). The reason I still have a look from time to time is that I find your attitude amazing and your fortitute enviable. Today I am writing because of you mentioning antidepressants and obviously feeling down.
I have been feeling very down as well and have been trying to reduce our debt for much less long than you have. In my case what seems to be getting me is a combination between impatience and starting to get really tired - without the boost of seeing the end. Getting one-self out of financial trouble is a bit like pulling one-self out a swamp by one's own hair - possible but needs something else. In the case of financial trouble, I have come to believe, that relying on hard work is necessary but by far not enough - one also needs an opportunity...And opportunities are there - but one has to be prepared and patient. Reading your tread I know you are prepared.
Decisions like the one to take or not antidepressants are very personal ones. But my very brief experience of them (took two pills once) is that they cut you off reality which might make spotting opportunities hard.
I find that taking a break helps and having some rest helps as well. When I start finding life too much (dept does have this effect I find) I just start rationalising it trying to find solutions. And then I remember an old Maori saying "If there is no solution - there is no problem".
Hope you feel better soon.

Are you really depressed or just completely overwhelmed by your busy life? If so, anti-depressants are not the answer.
More play and slightly less work, meet friends and laugh, go out for walks and take baby steps with the rest of it and you will get on better than relying on a crutch. Plus put things into perspective - yes you are in debt, but yes, you are enterprising and not only paying it off but building something for the future. All's well, be positive and not so hard on yourself
Take care xxx0
