Mrscmr, this might be a completly stupid idea beacuse i know nothing about property in Cyprus but is there any way to hold an open day then follow it up with an auction. you could set the reserve at the lowest ammount you would need to sell it for, and hope to get a quick sale.

Sorry if it is a bad idea but it was the only suggestion I could come up with. I hope you are OK today.

Really really sorry to hear that the Bank haven't been able to help out. For what it's worth, if you do go down the DMP route, I imagine it will reduce your stress massively and you will be left with a workable budget wihtout having to make up such a huge shortfall.

Hope things start to get better for you.

im off to bed now... v v tired... another sleepless in seattle night for me....

spoke to OH on phone.. he very down but i am trying not to burden him too much as this will affect his performance at work and he needs to be able to focus.

re: cyprus: we are dependent upon the resort resales to deal with the property. it is on with savills estate agents so this should work. becos its a restricted sort of community the owners control how / where you sell ur property and who buys it. yes yes yes i know.. who owns it! yes we do [or maybe the bank does] but .... fingers crossed will all work out in the end.

was a good meeting today....

Love the Buzz Lightyear. We have an obsessed 4 yr old in our house who occassionally doesn't answer to his name, only Buzz! That sort of thing makes all the struggles worth while!
