personally i feel i am working my socks off to keep everyone happy... ends up me not being happy. "big sigh" "sad face" "heavy heart"
It will get better......mine are 16 and 22 and the freedom I have now is to die for. Hubbys are a bit like pets and need a bit of love and attention now and again...but it's amazing when the money worries are gone and sorted..............which they will be in time.
I can't think of anything more cheerful to say at the mo .....but it does get better...trust me.:D0 -
fc123 i am going to finish my prep for my work tomorrow. then i am going to mail u my soa with all the answers to ur questions.. is that ok? would u mind looking?
u think i can manage this dmp myself?
No problem.....I got a 2nd E-mail from you last night but it was empty...I was going to kick it back but forgot
Managing it yourself? I managed ours as I didn't know about CCCs and MSE etc...so muddled my way though it. It did take time and hassle though...writing, 'phoning etc takes time......A 'phone call to CCCS is quicker and they 'do' all of them?
I have read some posts where interest wasn't frozen though (or maybe Payplan) ....that is the biggest priority at the mo.
Any CC in hubbys name, he will have to call but you can write the letters.
Is he totally on board with the full on MSE lifestyle whilst getting DF?
I had trouble with a few things with mine...and we used to row over stupid things like buying slice of cake in afternoon from bakers when he could bake a huge one for less£££.
E-mail me anytime...:)0 -
Sorry to hear about the bank. Most of the compnaies now will only freeze interest/stop hassling you if you go through CCCS (for some reason Martin has stopped recomending Payplan) (((hugs)))Sealed pot challenge 822

Hope you get some sleep mrscmr, and keep up the strength to keep going.
You ARE amazing and you HAVE managed an amazing turnaround. (((hugs)))0 -
hi mrsc first - hugs
second - cccs has a much better reputation than payplan on mse so I would go with them. Although you can do a self-managed dmp - most people seem to find it easier to use a charity like cccs - why do it yourself if you can get help?
third- this isn't forever - one day the cyprus property will sell and you will presumably have money to spare again....
I've told this story before but I felt it would be good to quote here again....
One day a jeweller was asked by a king to create a piece of jewellery which when he was sad would make him happy and when he was happy would make him sad. He was very worried and feared for his life because what could possibly do that? He came across a boy in the garden and they got talking. The boy told him to prepare a double sided medallion inscribed on each side "this too will pass". The jeweller hurried away and prepared it.... The king was delighted - he was aware of his blessings and took time to enjoy them aware that these too would pass. When troubles came he looked at the medallion and remembered this too will pass.....
The favourite words from the bible for slaves... "And it came to pass"
