Glad to hear you are still onwards and upwards, about the casino but pleased for you it worked out ok. Did you frighten him enough never to do it again?
I am starting to freak a little about xmas, younger one is easier but little Madam is not so easy. As they get older the presents get smaller but more expensive!!

morning alll... hmm what a nasty looking day - wet and dull!
working hard at mo and trying to ebay and do paid work to earn a crust! need to earn a whole loaf though. xmas is approaching with such speed - my smallest child wants everything in the argos catalogue including a new car seat [have no idea why]! random.
just keep on keeping on everybody!!! we can do it!

hi mrsc - glad you are still bearing up - I ignore xmas lists esp of small kids! Seriously I try to get one thing they want and then worry less about the rest. DD wanted barbie walking a dog - tesco had it for about £14! instead of the advertised £22 - then just got her other bits and bobs. She is at the age where she wants a whole catalogue so....Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

morning alll.... sorry i havent been on here much but life right now is at top speed. i am having to be mum and dad as OH is away and sometimes find myself having to be in maybe 2 or 3 places at once - such as this thursday... child #2 performing in school production and child #3 has a careers event at school... suggest i chop self in half and send one gooey bit to one school and the other goooey bit to the other school.. failing this idea suspect i will be bringing in 'the grandparents' for some 'grandparent' duty!
does anyone else out there think life is just wizzing by at top speed or is it me? ebay is chugging along - had a mamouth session this sunday with free listing day and made the most of it. then had some proper paid work and got paid same day because i work for a very kind man - bless him! there are some really good people out there amongst the dross.
also avon is slowly moving too... i dont have time to dedicate fully but if i did then maybe could be something more? not sure i really want to but it brings in a little which is all good.
cant wait till january 2010... firstly as im planning and hoping that ebay will become bit more of a business and will hopefully start an ebay shop - hoping to go to some trade fairs and meet wholesalers! also 1 january will start my diet!!! unfortunately of late i have taken comfort in chocolate croissants [warm and cuddly] and packets of frazzels --- well, I am on my own! however this means i pay the price in the tummy area! so will be back on wii fit and plan to get some weight off. also i just want 2009 to be over with as was a crap year!
so have good day all and i will keep you posted with progress - but i think, just think that things are slowly turning around in our favour... we are working hard - harder than ever but i will never be that greedy needy person i was before! I think we just might be on our way up [gosh im even too scared to say that incase it goes wrong again]

That sounds great! Lovely to think that you might have turned a corner. I can *see* the corner ahead of me, and I know how to turn the steering wheel, so to speak, but there's a bit of an obstacle course to get to the corner (dear god, talk about extended metaphors..... sorry!). Anyway, the obstacles consist of paperwork, mostly - so I'll be with you very soon!2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Hi im oksay, oh is unsettled in his job but i think its because of the sudden loss of his mum he is questioning things... hes it and at the moment he isnt doing much it, however that may improve early next year his friend who is flourishing with business as poached oh and asked him if he would consider a move for same salary and perks etc etc so thats sort of settled him for the moment.. the same friend is giving oh lots of extra work he can put through his business so its tiding us over for holiday clothes xmas and paying of marquee so thats a step in the right direction.. in my line of work pay rises are very few and any that you do get you get the the moneyworth out of yourself sometimes id love abit of slack in the pockets so next year i wondered if i should attempt a challenge of pay an amount off or identify a few cards to pay off
or something what you think ?? x
