Hi Pont ... welcome to my odd world! you have grit if you have read through all this!

hi happytoget [whats the status of wedding or have i missed it?] hi SH - what news on jobs how is mr SH? Thanks Jo4 for missing me!

    mad crazy day.

i really need to do a full update but have run out of time! laptop has died - not sure from what as yet... post mortum needed :-(

been out and about and more importantly paid in a whopper cheque .. yes i know a cheque... firstly a small one for mystery shopping which i did before hols, then a massive £3232 from egg which was rather unexpected in refunding of a PPI OH had taken out. I wrote in Feb this year and forgot / expected nothing! Plus Lloyds tsb are offering me £1320 on a refund of ppi on one of my loans [it will come off balance of loan but...] great news. both egg and mbna and c & g are being true to their words on the reduced payment plans - self managed by me. we are NOT O/D - miracle as usually after hols we are completely thrashed into O/D. so all going well. OH starts new job this week and rather nervous but all good. plus he is changing his car and will save £100 per month! all good!

so theres me saying i have no time to update you well clearly i have done some - hey ho!

ebay up and running as of last night with 147 items listed - some watchers already and 1 item will sell.

lots of ideas going round head from all the time i had on hols to think and plan.

not bothering with jsa - missed 3 appiotnments with them.. duh ... do i care? um nope - give that a miss - trauma anyhow just going.

got some proper - teeny tiny freeelance work to start from monday. plus gonna get a real job too!

oh oh confession time.. sorry sorry... bought 2 things - chanel lipstick and chanel lipgloss... sorry - dont know what happened - i was just overcome in the make up department... oh and whilst im confessing - i seem to have bought myself a dress too - pink and sparkly um and a suit for OH. dont tell anyone right?! ha ha

right well seems i that i have updated you a little... more to follow but didnt want to leave you hanging. all in all i feel very positive and strong. hoping there are no black clouds hanging around the corner ready to hit me :-) please let things be good for a bit.

hugs to all readers.... hope you are enjoying some summer weather wherever you are!

    Good to have you back.

You sound alive and bubbly and bring-it-on-world. All of which is fantabulously brilliant.

And excellent result on the PPIs...things are turning round for you.

It sounds like the holiday done wonders for you as you sound soooo positive and it gave you time to think! You are doing fantastic with your debt, utterly amazing.

Since you are not online, are you helping your hubby to destress before he commences his new job? :p

    Hi
My very first post-inspired by reading your diary (though I have lurked for a while). I just wanted to drop by to say-welcome back and keep posting! You are an inspiration and the reason I intend to 'come clean' and seek the support of all the great people on this site!I too have mammoth debts and a HUGE challenge ahead-but am getting brave enough to face and tackle at last-in no small measure, inspired by reading stories such as yours!

What has happened re your hubby's company by the way? SUCH great news/a relief about his new job though.

And a girlneeds the odd lipstick whatever the circs-so wear with pride-you deserve!
