Hi mrsc - sounds like things are coming together a little bit for you. At least with the cyprus house you have an asset to sell and it will reduce your overall debt quite considerably....

Like you say you can always have something like this again - once you get on top of your debt and in a better position!

Our minimum payments are about to double which is not good but can't be helped. A 0% £10K cc which we were only paying £25 a month has had its interest rate expire so altho we have transferred most of it - min payments now 2.25% of debt! Oh well nice while it lasted!

    hi peeps

how are all on this fine monday?

im a bit gloomy to be honest .. have no idea why.

we are racing through our savings at a rate of knots. its down to the direct debits and such - seems nothing we can do to slow it down.. i have negotiated on alot of payments but there is still more.

off on hols at the end of the week - hoping for a rest. but still keeping an eye on the spending...

    hows life with everyone?

hi mrs c hope you have a nice holiday - we are off on a little break on Thursday to hopefully sunny Scotland (the forecast is not that sunny to be honest but there we go!) will be back sometime next Tuesday! No idea if we are going to have any computer access up there...

It's sunny SH it is. At approx 3pm we had something reported as "bute-e-fool wether" (sorry phonetic spelling as it's not a term I'm familiar with).

I've turned from a pale shade of auchtemuchty blue to peely walley white. The next stage is lobster skin peel which is never attractive but something I can usually avoid due to liberal use of umbrellas, souwesters and galloshes.

I hope you both have lovely hols.

KJ you do know how to make someone splurt out their coffee all over their keyboard:rotfl:. Saw half a dozen peely walley whites in Cupar today but also one or two deep mahoganys and a tango orange or two. I am currently between light oak and antiqued pine:p myself. Thankfully don't do lobster peel red.

Mrscmr I hope you have a great holiday and are able to forget about all the problems and find time to relax.
