On a better note, i got a payslip in the post today from McCalls, i get paid from them tomorrow.
I was only expecting a weeks wages, but i am getting 2 weeks wages, plus overtime, plus holiday hours, plus my £100 back i got emergency taxed on last month :)

Put it towards your store cards and get rid of them once and for all! :D:D

  • It wont be enough to pay them all off, but am def gonna pay off my new look card and the rest split between the other 2
  • been a while since i posted on this.
Lets just say debt busting has gone out the window over the past month!

But i am back, and trying to get back on track
  • Havent really done much of anything the past 2 days.
Was at a gig on Friday night, then went out after it. Have spent the last two days in bed watching tv shows online.

Ended up working a shift in the cafe from my bestie on Friday during the day, i am on holiday at the moment though, so i hope that doesnt mess up my holiday pay.

Uni is going ok..i think. I'm still not really sure what im meant to be doing for any of my classes though :s And we're already being asked to choose what option we want to pick for next semester, but i can't open the file on my laptop! And i still can't logg into a computer in the university!

Was working tonight, then went to my bestie's for a well needed catch up.
Hardly seen her the past two weeks, it's just been crazy with both of us working so much!
But she gave me a Paul's Boutique bag she bought me for starting uni
    They cost £60 aswell!!

    This one:

I am sooo happy, cause i have wanted this bag for sooooo long! And i finally have it! I cannot wait for uni on monday now to show it off!

im sorry but did your friend get you the bag or did you buy it...
thanks for the codes i used the 20% off a few days ago to get my new pauls boutique barbie bag!!

But now i want the purse to match, anyone got a new 20% off code?

this was the 30th sept too... so do you now have 2?

i have been following your diary since you started but if you keep spending and kinda not admitting it you wont get anything cleared. I speak from getting into a right pickle myself too so i know it does 'cheer you up' when you spend but it doesnt last long!
Please be nice to all moneysavers!

Im afraid i have to agree. You posted a few weeks ago with the money that you had been paid etc.. you could have cleared a few of your store cards with that but you chose not to.

I dont mean to have a go but you are only ever going to clear your debt if you really want to. You do seem to have a lot of excuses.

People do want to help you on here, but we can only give you so much advice.

I have been through the denial stage myself (hence the debt!!), but you have a good chance to clear it while your debt is still quite low otherwise it will just get worse. And this is speaking from experience.

I really need to sort out a new signature!
  • My friend bought me one for starting uni, then i bought one of the barbie ones with a 20% off code.
I can't bear to part with either of them

I don't think it's a matter of bearing to part with it, but needing to part with it.

Keep the one your friend bought you, it was amazing of her to do it and it cost you nothing. I noticed that you've been posting about getting letters from your bank about your overdraft and a possible default.....this should be a wake-up for you. You need to take control of your spending and if this means selling some of your awesome stuff so be it.

I recently sold my Butterfly by Matthew Williamson bag, which was horrible, but I needed the money and it meant keeping me off my credit cards, so it was worth it. Maybe you need to think about doing something similar...
