  • Been a busy wee bee recently.

Though am really starting to get annoyed with morrisons, as it's been 3 weeks now since i told them i cannot do the shifts they have for me next week, as i start this summer school programme at uni. And they still haven't changed it!
My mum was on the phone screaming at them yesterday, i was on the phone crying to them yesterday as well. But still nothing has been changed.
So it looks like i'll be phoning in sick next week.

I have a week holiday booked for the week after (14th) And it would make things a whole lot easier if they could just change it to next week instead and stop all the hassle. But i am not in there again untill Saturday to ask anyone if they can change it for me.

Phoned up the tax office, and got my tax code thing sorted, from the emergency taxing incident last month, but i'm still not sure if it is right or not.
I think i will end up having to pay tax now :( And i've never paid any tax in my life!!

Still no sign of student loan coming through, though 5 people in my class have managed to get theirs now, and i still haven't!
Start the summer school programme on monday, then uni actually starts on the 21st!

Well i better go and get ready, as i am working at 2!

Log into your student account and you can see payment dates it will tell you if it has been submiited to bank for payment yet. I would check this 2-3 days before the payment date on your letter.

    Good luck

Do you mean my bank account?
  • No, PARIS means your account with the Student Loan company. They have an online bit where you can check when your payments are going to go through. However since you're in Scotland I don't know if it 's the same as it is for us in England.

No, we don't have any contact with the student loan comany, they pay for half our loan, but it's SAAS that deal with it all here in Scotland.
You can log in online to SAAS, but ony to apply for a loan and bursary, to to apply for travel expenses in December.
After that all you can do when you log in is to check the status of your application, after that it's down the the college or uni to deal with it.
  • Another wee day off today.
    Though i have been busy.
I done a washing, so i have some nice clean clothes for uni next week!!!
Tidyed my room (though i still haven't hoovered yet, oh well)
I posted Ebay and Amazon sales, but have now ran out of jiffy bags to post things that ended today.
I cleaned out my mums kitchen cupboards (well 2 of them!) And threw out 3 black bags full of out of date stuff, honestly! Was all dated 07/08!

Then i made cakes!! HURAAH I made them by scratch for the first time too, instead of from a cake mix packet!

    Here are my goodies:

    I'm so proud of them!

Working in Morrisons 3-8:30 tomorrow, then in McCalls 8-2 on Sunday morning.
Then i start the summer school programme at uni on Monday!

  • So the first day of uni went well i suppose.

Was pretty boring really, just being told about the uni, and what lectures and seminars are and how long they will be etc.

Got let away early though :)

Think we're being shown around the library tomorrow, i'm glad that uni doesn't actually start till the 21st, and that it is only us in the campus just now.

Oh well i'm off to bed, i'm back in at 9 tomorrow morning :(
  • So much drama recently.

Anyway i am not going back to McCalls, she can shove her job.
Last day of summer school tomorrow, and i have to do a presentation, whichi really should be working on just now!

    Pay day tomorrow though :)
