  • managed to get my wee list done today.
Work was alright tonight, came home with loads of freebies :)

So glad the schools went back today! My little brother was really starting to get on my nerves. Cannot believe that is him in second year now, and he has to pick his subjects for third year in Feb!!!! I think thats way too soon, i mean he is only 12 just now, will only turn 13 in January. Then has to pick his subjects for his standard grades a month later? I think he really is far too young to be picking what subjects he wasnts to do, which y'know his future kinda depend on!

Loads of school kids in the shop today as well, nightmare! As we only allow 2 in at a time, and you have to keep shouting at them!
I saw a lot of the new primary ones finishing at 12 when i left the doctors, must be good only being in school 9-12. They're in for a shock in October, when they will be in till 3pm!!

4 books that were meant to come free with sat and sun newspapers, 2 irn bru glasses.

plus i got 2 big multi packs of crisps for 10p each, as they are out of date in 2 weeks, brought them home for the family :)
  • Was working 7-12 yesterday morning. And off today.

Havent done much in the was of money saving, went out with girls from Morrisons last night for one of their birthdays, spent £4 the whole night though!!!!

Got £50 odd quid in today from ebay sales :)
So that'll go towards my bag i need for uni. I need quite a big sturdy one for everyday use, that i can fit my laptop into as well.
then what ever is left over, can go towards pens/folders/notebook type things i need for starting as well.

Working 2-10 tomorrow night, then in Morrisons 11:30-8:30 on Saturday, then off on sunday!!

Think i'm gonna spend Sunday taking pictures and listing more stuff on Ebay.
  • work was alright tonight, and i found out i get paid next friday :) yay

I am so tired though, and i have loads of ebay sales to post, but have no idea when i'll be able to get to a post office!!!

Sitting here with my pink in, it's all faded and my hair looks more blonde than pink! Then need to shower, and wash the pink out.
Then iron my clothes for working in Morrisons tomorrow.

Paid my minimum payment of £35.36 to Kays account today, bringing the balance down to £130ish...wooo hoo!!!

Still got Dorothy Perkins and Arcadia cards to pay, but not due till the 5th, so i am going to wait till i get paid to pay them off, as i only have £60 left at the moment.

Could a member of your family go to the Post Office for you? Or could you nip out of work in your lunchbreak Monday?

I think my mum is away doing hair most of next week, but i will ask her anyway.

I don't get lunch breaks in McCalls, we don't get breaks at all. I mean we can sit n read a mag/paper or take something to eat off the shop floor, go for a fag etc whenever we want. It is a pretty relaxed place, and theres really usually nothing to be done. But there has to be 2 people in the shop at all times really, and we only havd like 7 members of staff, so 2 people do the morning 7-3 and 2 people do the night 3-10.
I can't leave the shop with just one person in it, plus the post office is about 15 mins away on the bus. :(
