Today has been good, walked to and from work! (was working 12-5)
My mum and brother came home this morning from Turkey, and devoured the cakes and cookies i made them last night!
Came home to see i've made money on ebay and green metropolian today
£3 from a Gossip Girl book
£10 from a leather Stila brush roll (cost me £3 on TJ Hughes...glad i bought 3 of them now!
£6 from a Stila make up bag (i paid 99p for it on Ebay a few months ago but never used it)
So i am rather chuffed! Down to my last tenner though till payday next Friday, which will prob only cover postage on them
My mum is also skint, i was planning on borrowing a tenner off her, but she came home this morning asking me for money! Roll on next Friday i say!
Also popped into the shop on the way home...the one i handed in my cv too last Saturday. The manager was in, reconised me straight away, talked to me for a bit. Said sorry she hadn't had a chance to go through applications yet, but shes took the sign down and said "i've not given up on you yet!"
So still looks promising i guess?0 -
Today has honestly been one of the bestest days in a long time!
Got my apprasial at work, actually was pretty good
Got a wee text from the manager of the shop down the road asking me to pop in to see her, so i did n we sat and chatted, and ended up getting offered a 16 hour contract, so i can do that as well as 9 hours a week in Morrisons.
Then went to the dental hospital with my friend...her wee wisdom tooth is acting up again. Then went for dinner, as a wee thanks for going with her. And we'd had a wee falling out during the week, so it was nice. So glad we're talking again.
Talked the new job over with my mum, she seems quite happy about it, as i'm still gonna be staying in Morrisons too. So i am gonna go in tomorrow and tell her i will do it, cause she said she can start me next week!!
Have done a new SOA to show my new income including wages from 2 jobs and student loan and bursary! I am so excited, i cannot wait till this all happens now, roll on September!!
Oh and heres the new SOA if you want a peek...

thanks fire fox, i really appreciate all your advice over the past wee while
Turns out that because my manager had to re-write the rota to include me in it this week...todays shifts got messed around.
On the rota me and the girl i was on with last night, were meant to be a 7-2 and then 2 others were meant to be 2-10.
BUT
all four of us showed up at 7 this morning, cause they were originally meant to be in this morning...lol
I offered to go home n come back at 2 cause it's only across the road for me, where as they other two live about an hour away. Plus it means i'm getting an extra hour now, lol!0 -
Brownie points too, for being flexible.
Doesn't sound very organised at your old workplace, they keep messing people about!

I am sooo tired. Been working 13 days straight now, not got a day off till Thursday
I just keep trying to think of the pennies though.
I got paid from Morrisons on Friday, and its almost nearly all gone now
I owed my mum £150 rent plus £30 from last month cause i only got paid £200 and she only took £120 off me.
Plus £50 to phone bill for the last 2 months bills.
At least i can use my phone again.
I bought another pair of black trousers from Primark for a fiver, i have two pairs now, and don't need to stay up untill crazy hours waiting for the washing machine to finish, and pray for them to be dry in the morning!
Sold about £70 worth of stuff on ebay the past few days, gotta post it all tomorrow, then got docs at 12, then working 2-100 -
So my plan for today is:
Wrap up Ebay/Amazon stuff
Iron clothes to wear today
Post Ebay/Amazon Stuff
Nurse at 12pm
Working 2-100
