  • Luckily I had a freebie tesco sim card and registered, took all of 2 minutes to do, but I didn't realise you had to register 5 times to get the product that many times, the persil ad is no longer showing on the home page :( have refreshed it quite a few times, anyone else having this trouble?

    *Note to Self*

Next time either register at home (not when at work) or remember to turn phone onto silent!!

Have just received 84 texts from Tesco!!!

(and my text alert is a flock of sheep baa-ing!!)

ps - Thanks to the OP for the post.

If you've recieved 84 texts you have registered too many times.

I register a certain amount at home on my o2 phone, then buy that amount instore after.
With this one this week, i registered 5 times for persil S&M then bought 5 in one go a few hours later at tesco. Same for my OH.

In the week before i registered for lets say, 60 Dove all on one day so i had all 60 confirmation texts through on my phone. I then bought 60 'already 200 points allocated' Dove shampoos over that week, and not needing to register again as I already had done previously all in one go.

    Hope that makes sense :o

    Love this promo :)

    xx

Ive registered the full amount so will take it from there, and hope for the best. :D

I thought it was 5 of each item?

    1. Does any O2 customer get free web-surfing via the WAP Access Point? I have my doubts, and if you are paying an uncertain amount for mobile web use then how do you know if you are ahead on this 'deal'?

If you're not on O2 or don't even have a mobile, there is no reason why anybody with a phone that supports dial-up WAP, or anybody with an old analogue modem, can't access O2's dial-up WAP service. Of course, you'll pay for the phone call...

Dial 07712927927 username "o2wap", password "password". If you're not on a phone, ensure you use a WAP-capable browser. Set the proxy to 193.113.200.195 port 8080. Front page is http://wap.o2.co.uk/ But any website you connect to sees you coming from O2's network.

I've got free dial-up WAP on my contract, but no GPRS. Since my phone (N95) doesn't support dial-up, I use those settings with the laptop linked to it. I've not actually tried connecting from other networks, but the number does ring answer the call with modem tones from my house phone..
