I was hoping it means if you want 5 of something, you register it on your phone 5 times & then make 1 trip to buy 5 - you don't have to go through the checkout 5 times, surely?

I buy 5 in one go after i've registered 5 times at home...

with regards to the bogofs, do you think both give you the points. in other words will they still give you 100 points for the one you haven't paid for, the free one?
  • I have just called up Tesco who confirmed that in order to be able to purchase 5 of the items then you need to register 5 times. Once you do that then you can buy all 5 items in one go. Hope that helps

I have only had a quick read of this thread but there is a suggestion that to qualify, O2 users must use the wap.o2.co.uk Access Point. I get 'free' web surfing via mobile.o2.co.uk but AFAIK if I use wap.o2.co.uk I get charged. I also know that Blackberry handsets are generally set up to use the blackberry.net Access Point and if a Blackberry user on O2 tries to be clever and surfs on another O2 Access Point, they are likely to get charged. That would explain the warning that Blackberry users may have problems.
So being an old cynic, my questions are these:
    1. Does any O2 customer get free web-surfing via the WAP Access Point? I have my doubts, and if you are paying an uncertain amount for mobile web use then how do you know if you are ahead on this 'deal'?
    2. If you use another Access Point e.g. mobile.o2.co.uk, will you actually be satisfying the terms of the offer?

Before too many get carried away with it, I think someone at MSE Towers might check a few things...

If you register for 5 times each for all products, can you just go in and buy all 50+ products in 1 go?

using your o2 / Tesco mobile.

Once you have registered for one offer (eg PG Tips) scroll down and click "go to more offers" You'll then see a list of all the other products - just tick the boxes and hit submit & you'll be registered for all of them.

All product varieties unless otherwise stated:

100 pts PG Tips Pyramids (160/240)
    100 pts Pepperami
    100 pts Ben & Jerrys
    100 pts Hellmann's mayo
100 pts Vaseline (not lip therapy or pure petroleum)
    100 pts Sure deordorant
    100 pts Marmite
    100 pts Lynx
    100 pts Bertolli spreads
100 pts Comfort fabric conditioner (not vaporesse products)
100 pts Flora spreads (not 250g)
100 pts Dove (all except soap bars)
250 pts Persil small and mighty
    100 pts Domestos

    How it works
Tesco are offering you the chance to collect extra Clubcard points by registering for offers on your mobile phone. Just click on the offer that you are interested in and then input your Clubcard number. Remember to read the terms for each offer.

You will receive a free SMS detailing the offer for which you have registered. Simply buy the product online or in store before the 30/04/2009 and the points will be automatically added to your account.

    FAQs

Thanks - with this guide it took less than 5 mintes to register for all the products, and was not 'fildely' as Martin suggested.

I'm trying to build up my points for a particular offer, so this will give it a boost.

Thanks for all the explanations everyone and those who posted the products and best offers!

Took 10 mins to register 5 times on my phone, and about the same to write down the offers (darn my broken printer lol). Will be great to pay for ds's birthday trip to Alton Towers!
