I'm still confused. How can you claim it as an expense if you've been reimbursed for it, or are you talking about "tweaking" the figures? Hmmm, I think I'm understanding you wink wink.

    Ohhhhh I see!

There would be an expense, but there'd also be an income (which would offset it and make nil profit).

I was talking about the amount you include in your accounts as an expense, not the profit you'd make on it.

We were both right then! ;)

Forget that, you both confused me.... la la la la la la la...... :hello:

Are you calling me a winker? ;)

What I'm saying is, to make accounts you have income (fees + reimbursements) and expenses (things you bought + mileage + paper).

The expenses are what I'm talking about in my examples but yes, you would have the income too which would be accounted for at the top, in the income section.

    No winking involved - it's only 10:00!

Has everyone seen the section on RE website that they are recruiting auditors? Under 'new opportunities'.

No good for me, but maybe good for some of you.

I regularly do hospital A & E. One of my more worthwhile jobs as I can tell someone who might actually DO something about it about the state of my local hospital!
Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).

I can see the brief now!
This is an open scenario. You will need to visit a specific supermarket in your area and check the correct items are in stock in the fruit and veg section.
    • Red Cox Apples
    • Granny Smith Apples
    • Vine Tomatos
    • Cabbages
    • Cauliflower
    • Cucumbers

Please make a note of the quantity in stock, prices and special offers taking place.

If these items are not in stock, you will need to confirm with the duty manager on their availability.

If after having checked with the duty manager you find they are not in the warehouse, we will required you to visit Norfolk, South Downs and West Glamorgan to pick these items up from the local farmers. You must check each individual cabbage and cucumber to make sure it meets the standards of the supermarket. This can be found in the 84 page booklet we will email you. You must read this and answer the 48 questions before your visit takes place.

You will be reimbursed £1.50 plus £10 reimbursement in fruit and veg costs.
