  • Nads, you forgot to add that you must count each floret on the cauliflowers. If there are more than 40, then you have give to your answer why in no less than 300 characters. :D
We could all learn a little something from the weather. It pays no attention to criticism.

Sorry to ask another question, but would be grateful for your help.

Can anyone tell me if its ok to call the contact number for OC? I have had an assessment queried but cannot find the area on the form that they have told me to confirm my details in.
I already emailed them back earlier but have no reply.

This is my first job for them, so I want to get it right.

    xx truls

I can't remember the exact wording of this but I remember SC and I a while back discussing it - I think we all agreed on the lower of what you spent and the reimbursed amount - UNLESS you're asked to spend more than the reimbursement as part of doing the job, so 3 scenarios:

    A) Spent £10, reimbursed £30 - claim £10 as expense
    B) Spent £30 (only HAD to spend £10), reimbursed £10 - claim £10 as expense
    C) Spent £30 (HAD to spend £30), reimbursed £10 - claim £30 as expense
I'm even more confused now. Last year when I was starting up in this game I called the Tax office to ask what I do with expenses e.g. if I have to buy something as part of a job do I count that in earnings. I was told that if I get to keep the stuff I buy then it is counted as income, not expenses. Does that mean everyone else just discounts any re-imbusement money? For example well known supermarket job fee £7, must buy shopping to value of £3.50 then the tax man would expect to see £11.50 in earnings. Is this not right?
Couldn't think of anything witty to say so just keeping the space until I can :(

If they'd reimburse your £3.50 then yes, I agree with you.

I agree too - although you always throw whatever you buy away, don't you? ;)

I tend to give all my purchases to charity. Ahem.

    Hi xxx
Thank you for recently taking part in xxx ‘Food on the Go’ assignment(s) which you completed between 19th February and 25th March.
We'd like to make you aware that due to an unavoidable circumstance, the following assignments will be paid at a slightly later date, on 15th April:

Haven't done a job since Dec, nothing pending etc. Anyone else got one of these, have they just done a blanket message to us all?
    Now proud Mumto3 :j

I got it too and I must admit I was scratching my head because I do "food on the go" but for another company and was wondering if I had been sending texts to the wrong people...... whew! I thought I had broken my confidentiality for a moment and expected Timmne to pop up and shout at me... (ha ha just joking Timmne....:A )
