Has anyone got any stamp jobs yet from Gap for May? I did my last ones at the weekend, and wondering whether I've missed the next lot, or if they haven't been released yet. Only 1 job down from Gap for May so far, not good.
And I agree RE are rubbish in many ways, but I quite like some of their clients, so guess will keep doing jobs for them. That's the problem though isn't it, no matter how badly they treat us, most of us keep coming back for more.
I've only recently started doing work for them, and find some of the queries rather ridiculous. Much more so than Gap, who I've been working for for a while.0 -

Sometimes I don't think they understand the concept of mystery shopping. It's all a big game to them, throw a 6 and tell the client the customer service was excellent, throw a 4 and give the shop advance warning of the day and time the shopper will visit, etc etc etc
I found GAP petrol jobs quite easy when I was pregnant. Asking to use the loo didn't look too bad as at 8 months pregnant I was always on the damn loo and staff take pity on you when they see you waddling in lol.0 -
What would happen if you got home and discovered that the item was faulty?0

the first time i did a petrol job i asked about the toilet and the woman behind the counter said ' are you that desparate - i wouldn't use them if i were you!!'
i have done two more petrol jobs and was too embarrased to ask about the toilet. i just ticked the box to say the toilets were fine - got paid and no-one ever questioned it.

So frustrating there have been a few jobs on GFK I would love to be able to do as I need to be doing some of the stuff required anyway but I'm too young.
Gah, too young to speak to banks, play bingo, fly, look at cars, or make clothes purchases according to some sites - this is worse than being a young teen again!! :rolleyes:It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

If goods are faulty you should be able to take them back by law. I was one of the daft people who did this job. Read the damn client wrongly and saw the fee from another job and as I was rushing trying to get DD to school accepted it without reading it properly - that will teach me. I usually get DH's t-shirts from the other sports shop - the one with three letters starting with the same letter as this job. When I read the notes through again and found you cuoldn't return the items I did think what a cheek. This is just a way to get rid of stock and make their sales figures look better - what a waste of time!! When I went in there was nothing under £20 and to be honest given the option I would have shopped elsewhere cause there was nothing in there that I could honestly say I wanted - ended up with a hoodie for when I start exercising again (yeah right!!!).0 -
I just got a phone call from Gap, offering me loads of jobs for May. Petrol, travel agents, mobile phone, coffee, small supermarkets - think I've got 19 in total. I did turn down the fast food ones as I'm doing Slimming World, and he offered me 5 x Ladbrokes but I've not done the accrediation test so I couldn't have them.
I asked if they were going to allocate jobs this way in future rather than put them on the website and he said yes!
So wait for your phone call, guys!!!!We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

I was the same - got loads of jobs by phone a couple of weeks ago - woohoo!
As much as I used to hate GAP, I have grown to like them now they call me and have a chat with me when offering jobs. The reports are so easy too so they're back at the top of my list for value for money jobs (as I only do certain nice ones of theirs)
