Hey everybody. I've just had a rather silly email from RE regarding a client query. I've written a response but I'm not sure if it's too far - I don't really want to get sacked. Anybody online now volunteer to read through it and tell me if I should moderate it a bit?

Thanks to the many people who offered to help, I've had it read by a couple of people now and I'm satisfied that it's not too angry, so I've sent it. :D

  • That's hilarious! True to RE style though I must add. :rotfl:I can just imagine someone standing there looking at a piece of furniture for 20 minutes. How absolutely ludicrous.

Glass cabinet containing 8 MP3 players, though the idea of browsing an individual piece of furniture for RE is something I wouldnt put past them at all!

I reckon a bed or a chair wouldnt be too bad - plonk down and start filling in your report while you wait for the sales person to pay you some attention.:rotfl:
It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

They do come up with some crackers - i mean, I love doing the large pet shop ones for RE but browsing 3 different rabbits for 10 minutes is a tad ridiculous despite how cute and cuddly they look!

Thats better than what I got - I found myself trying to make squeeky noises to get the rabbits to talk to me whilst I waited for the member of staff to not appear for 10 minutes ....

Perhaps that is why they gave you a lot of space....

Do you think they watch it back on CCTV and have a giggle in the staff room?
Would you have blown your cover I wonder as they carted you off in the wee white van wearing your jacket with the long sleeves shouting "I STILL HAVE TO GET A RECEIPT OR I WON'T GET PAID!"

To be honest the rabbit squeeks were a damn bit more informative than the staff on that particular visit!
