The problem is RE has grown too big far too quickly and they really dont have the infrastructure to do it.

They have nabbed so many clients from competitor MS Companies, reduced all of our fees in the process, restrict to even greater levels the volume of work we can do because they over subscribed the shopper numbers, increase the wordiness of reports to the point you answer 3 identical questions in the same report sometimes, the web site cant cope, the shoppers cant get stuff written up on time or even selected reliabily any more and I suspect if RE dont get on top of it soon, they will be loosing clients and experienced shoppers ......

Oh, I see what you mean now, but isn't this a more long-winded way of searching than by client or location? Don't understand the benefit of it?

Here here, i've been with RE for a number of years, have over 5000 points and have seen a drastic reduction in reliability to the point of frustration. They would have been better keeping worker numbers down and rely on the old brigade to do the increasing number of jobs available.

What annoys me is that because they limit the number of jobs we can see due to the increased shopper numbers, I get continual phone calls about 'can you do a job here' in a remote area - up in the Highlands i tend to plan my work around day trips but with their last minute apporaches to do jobs you cant even see, its throws spanners in the works every time now.

TNS and GFK seem to rely on a hard core brigade to do work and that works very well, RE used to but got a tad greedy with clients and now its just an absolute mess for shoppers, RE staff and clients alike ....

  • I have an idea... maybe if we all take turns to access the RE website it'll ease the crush so we can actually get on. Right, I'll go first - I promise I won't take all the jobs :A :D
