Virgin upping my 2mb to 10mb!

The S package is unsuitable for iPlayer - the speed will be reduced by 75% if you download in excess of 200MB:eek:, so after this your speed will be 512K, barely braodband speed. Most iPlayer shows ARE in excess of 200MB.

It's better to go for ADSL if you can instaed of paying 14 for S package. For 14.99 you can get talktalk line rental + BB, free 2MB with sky, or 7.50 with o2 for 8mb unlimited.

Or opt to pay VM 20 for the 10mb service:mad:

Basically all VM are trying to do is increase their ARPU in the middle of a recession. Shows how much they care about their customers.

Thank you both for your help on this, I think I'm going to have a look at the options, but at this stage even though Virgin is a rip off I would rather stick with the devil I know, I think I will have to look at the finances over the weekend and make some calls next week.
