i wish i could buy books from charity shops for 10p. there are 4 charity shops on my local highstreet. you'd be lucky to get £1 off RRP in most of those.

Negotiated charity shop down £0.50 (from £1.99) on an M&S tie.

I gave them the 50p back and told them I was just doing it for a bit of practice.

    Mr Profligate me, eh?

Next time I might try haggling with Big Issue seller.

Jesus! You are but a child. I may have to give up stalking you around MSE.

    *old and haggard, me*

If you're hot in a Mrs Robinson kinda way then I don't really have too much of a problem.

Have fun with your PS3, did you get any nice games??

I got Grand Theft Auto IV amongst others. It's like real life but you get to steal and crash random cars and randomly shoot anyone you like and just get away with it all. It's like Amcluesent's prediction of where we'll be as a society in 12 months time.
  • 25k off just for horrible paint sounds a bargain. Industrial paint stripper steam thingy will have it off in an hour or so

I'd love a great excuse to buy like that, moving into a prepared place is not my preference
