Nope...just more trashtastic, body-fascist wear that only a minority want to wear and buy.

But working on a different range at the moment...more simple...like the tunic I sent you....good for my own age group. Only doing it as I am running out of clothes to wear and, when shop gone, won't be buying in ranges (that I snaffle the odd item from)....so, needs as must.....plus I don't think I can face shopping in George...no offence to any George customers...but not my ting really.

You should've given your money to "help the blind" or something worthwhile.

Enjoy you playstation, Im sure the country will thank you for it.

It made no difference what so ever.

I really am going to have to get a 'sarcasm signature', like the mortgage advisors have.

I don't doubt that you were tongue in cheek, but my comment was aimed at the government. Not that they are listening.

They are always listening. PM amcluesent, he'll give you all the inside info.

Oh don't, it's much more interesting to read the variety of responses you get.

I too am toying(pun intended) with the idea of blowing my wad , or at least some of it on something stupid...Oh the irony of my posts on need v greed , but hey its not on tick.

The reasoning being is that I have been thinking that HMG has beaten this saver into submission. My april 3.6k that I usually put in at the first day of my isa doesnt look too promising on savings interest. So I might as well spend it and save some more and put it in just before 4.4.10.

I have been toying with the idea of a quad to let rip in the mud , or a second hand soft top to let the wind through my 6 inch centre parting.

But the saver in me will no doubt see more doom and gloom , more money slide from investments on the portfolio....and ones thousands of rbs shares used to replace the branded luxury toilet paper I will never be able to afford again.

I could just buy a few 50 quid cars and sell em for a couple of hundred to those for a 2k deposit voucher on a new one instead.

Im saving now for a 1 year old Vauxhall ampera , the car that will do 177mpg as a one year old model and isnt even released to 2010....yes I do think that far ahead.Hopefully Vauxhall will still be around then , or actually the banks and money for that matter.
Have you tried turning it off and on again?

i've been doing my bit for the economy as well, today i thrashed my car around the surrey lanes for nearly three hours for no other reason than i felt like going for a drive, and the £35 i wasted on pointless "performance" petrol mostly went to the government in tax. by next week that money will be helping out some worthy causes; perhaps it can be transferred directly into jacqui smith's mortgage account?

...and because he brought it from a retail store which employs British people :)

Funny though I've brought myself a PS3, 37" HD telly woot and stack of audio equipment.
