I used to work in a children's day nursey and a big favourite was Gloop..................all you need is cornflower mixed with water. If you do a search on he internet i'm sure you'll find it. It's a bit hard to explain what it is, but i guarantee the younger ones will love it. You just need a tray to put it in. It looks solid when you make it but it's actually a liquid. The children used to love messing with that.

You could also buy some face paints and paint their faces? There are loads of websites with facepainting ideas on and for the girls you could buy some cheap glittery makeup and use that as well for some extra sparkle. Dogs/Cats/Butterflies are about the easiest. I will gladly print some off for you and post them if that would help??

You could also do hand/foot prints and make the children their owned little framed collage with their photo (perhaps with you too) and their foot and hand print? As far as i'm aware you are allowed to have photos taken in the contact centre so you could ask one of the staff to take pictures for you?

You could also try charity shops for Jigsaws/Books/Board games..........they are normally pretty cheap and if you can find a nice one some of the stuff is nearly new!
