I also dont think Avira is running correctly
When you can ~ uninstall it
Download CCLEANER (Make sure you click 'DOWNLOAD LATEST VERSION' ~ make sure YAHOO TOOLBAR is unticked on installation)

Run the CLEANER scan (UNTICK 'cookies')
Then run the REGISTRY scan (Backup the registry when it asks)
Reinstall it
Download AVIRA ANTI VIRUS PERSONAL (Make sure you click 'DOWNLOAD LATEST VERSION')

Hi Rik. Tried to run combofix but got about 9 mins in then crashed, rebooted and normal mode went almost immediately to 'frozen'.
shall I try again to run Hijack in Normal mode?:rolleyes:0 -
Also, Avira was up to date but got to 99% then crashed and rebooted!0

Really struggling to post the file.Keeps crashing even in safe mode.!

By the way, it seems Zone Alarm has disappeared!! Def not coming up in the system tray in Normal or safe mode.0 -
