What an idiot - please help

need help. Have infected my own computer. Can't get things like Malware to run even in safe mode, it just freezes. What can I do?

How do you know you've infected it? can you boot at all? are you getting as far as the login prompt? (I'm assuming windows)

Yes I can boot up both ways. If booting nrmally I get to the dsktop then everything freezes very shortly after (about 1 min).
In safe mode afain I can get to the desktop and I have run CCleaner ok but it won't let me run Malwarebytes. After about 5 mins everything freezes then blue screen and it goes into reboot.

Put HIJACK THIS on your computer in SAFE MODE WITH NETWORKING

Download HIJACK THIS (Make sure you click 'DOWNLOAD LATEST VERSION')
http://www.filehippo.com/download_hijackthis/
reboot into NORMAL mode
Click DO A SCAN AND SAVE A LOGFILE (Takes seconds) then post the log so we can see whats running
(do NOT do anything else with Hijack but scan and post the FULL log)

Hi Rik. It's not staying 'unfrozen' long enough to let me do this! Have run it but then it freezes before i can post the log.
I will see if i can copy it onto a memorystick and post it using this computer.
By the way, that's what causd the problem- when I was working between the two the other evening when you helped me fix THIS computer, I made the most stupid error and took the memory stick back from this one to mine to post the log for DD's laptop and forgot to scan the memory stick first! How stupid and fundamental!
I will go and see if I can get the log onto here. Thanks

Theres nothing in the log anyways. Must go deeper

Startup in SAFE MODE WITH NETWORKING again

then run COMBOFIX
