You've had every p2p application going installed :rotfl:
download Malwarebytes http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php install, update, quick scan, remove everything it finds and post the logfile back here.

not every p2p no, utorrent, ares and bearshare (lite without zango) which i used before ares, and 3 ares clones which my friend installed when i leant this computer to him - that makes 7 - there are thousands of p2p programs.

U-torrent and ares are spy/malware free - bearshare lite is minimal (does not contain zango) which leaves just the three ares clones (not installed by me, but removed) that are potentially dodgy.

i dont think this is virus or mal or spyware related. Ive trawled the internet but can seem to find any other similar problems..a few specificaly relating to firefox and certain add ons but my problem seems to be with both firefox and I.E.

I can only think that it is something on startup that is effecting the browser settings but i have very little installed on this pc and all of the start up entrys are legitamite processes. It has only been in the last few weeks that this has happened and nothing new has been installed in that time.

As combofix sorts the problem. Then on delete its back again. It seems to me that combofix is fixing something but whatever it is, is being 'created' again on reboot/start up. Im really not sure what it is as this is quite a new one on me but id still go with running Dr Web as it may find whatever is creating it.

Id also remove flash players (You have 3 plugins it seems) ~
    http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalId=tn_14157

    Then reinstall for both ~
