Problems with Ebay - Page perpetually loading

Hi,

Ive been having problems with ebay for the last few weeks now and have been pulling my hair out trying to find a solution.

It first started by letting me log in, but not not access my ebay page which i fixed by opting to use the new beta version.

Now the problem is that it wont let me list my item. I can create the listing, but when i go to review listing the page just wont fully load up.

I am using vista home premium with firefox 2.0.6 (but the problem is the same in internet explorer) with avira free anitvirus and spybot search and destroy.

I was previously using commodo firewall which i thought was causing the problem, when i removed it i was able to list an item. unfortuantely when i restarted my computer the problem seemed to have reset.

My hijack this log has been checked and is clear, and i have no other spy or malware issues all checks with several clients have returned clear results.

I have contacted ebay several times about this issue, but they seem reluctant to help me and i always get an automated reply telling me to reset my password (i did this but it didnt help). The live help guys are no better, they just give me a link to the contact us form that i have already used (see above) and then close the chat so i am going round in circles as far as there customer service is concerned.
sorry if this is a bit longwinded but its driving me up the wall now! any help or suggestions (apart from contact ebay customer support!!) would be gratefully recieved

I assume youve tried clearing the ebay cookies?

Download HIJACK THIS (Make sure you click 'DOWNLOAD LATEST VERSION')
    http://www.filehippo.com/download_hijackthis/
Click DO A SCAN AND SAVE A LOGFILE (Takes seconds) then post the log so we can see whats running
(do NOT do anything else with Hijack but scan and post the FULL log)

    this is interesting

    "O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [COMODO Firewall Pro] "C:\Program Files\COMODO\Firewall\cfp.exe" -h"

as i thought it might have been commodo before and removed it (using uninstall and then what was left manually) but there still seems to be something running?

You still have some remnants of AVG in there.
Use the 32 bit AVG removal tool
    http://www.avg.com/download-tools

Try switching off spybots TEA TIMER mode too

    FIX these using hijack ~
    O2 - BHO: (no name) - !!02478D38-C3F9-4efb-9B51-7695ECA05670} - (no file)
    O2 - BHO: WormRadar.com IESiteBlocker.NavFilter - !!3CA2F312-6F6E-4B53-A66E-4E65E497C8C0} - C:\Program Files\AVG\AVG8\avgssie.dll (file missing)

    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [COMODO Firewall Pro] "C:\Program Files\COMODO\Firewall\cfp.exe" -h

Any idea what this odd IP address is? ~
    NameServer = 4.2.2.4 4.2.2.3

Id suggest a run with COMBOFIX
    to be sure its clean
    (Post the log it creates)

You'd also be wise to upgrade to Firefox 3.0.7 which has many security measures and fixes that your current Firefox 2.0.6 does not.

Don't laugh at banana republics. :rotfl:

As a result of how you voted in the last three General Elections,
you'd now be better off living in one.

thanks rik, have run the avg uninstaller deleted \nd the hijack entries

    no idea what this is

    "IP address is? ~
    NameServer = 4.2.2.4 4.2.2.3"

when i run combofix avira detects it as a virus
"eicur test file virus detected" should i ignore this and run it anyway?

thanks leopard, I am running 2.0.7 forgot i updated the other day.

listing page still not loading. I also tried reinstalling my java but didnt help either. Ebay is the only site i am having problems with and it works fine from other computers.
