    Amazon have the Cyberhome 401/0 divx DVD player for £29.99 incl free del. I got one and I am very pleased, nice compact design. Doesn't have component outputs as listed but I use it on a TV. Has played all the divx I have tried so far. Only had probs with one file where the sound kept dropping out every few seconds. All in all very happy with it.

    Just checked the price and they have put it upto £30.49! I noticed they keep verying the price on certain items. If you want to save 50p then wait a couple of days and see what happens.

    Cyberhome 401 is also available on the high street whsmith for 34.99 I used to have cyberhome 400 it was an ok player the sound on componet output was way too high, the worst was remote it used the lithium watch type batteries.

    I am still waiting for yamada 6700 to come in wh smith I have waited for about 4 months now :( I need a divx player but a nice one.

    Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
    Yamada now also make a DVD-2400x with DivX playback.

    I've seen then here for £29.99 http://www.ebuyer.co.uk (Sorry, not a direct link cos the Ebuyer website is on a go slow)

    and here for £26.99 http://svp.co.uk/products-solo.php?pid=1221

    Had a look on google but can't see it coming up anywhere else yet, but that's prob cos it's a new model.

    Had some good reviews worth checking the reports at VCDHELP.COM

    http://www.eltax.com/eltax/index.php?item=10&id=11032

    Ebuyer calls it a 154 the Eltax web site calls it a 153! But it is cheap and has 2 +tive reviews on ebuyer.

    Any reason not to buy this one? Aside from perhaps having just missed out on 99p shipping?

    ::Quidco.com - £1100 in 11 months. Kerr-ching! ::
  • Be warned though, Pixmania are not the most helpful of online retailers.

    I ordered a printer, they charged by card on the day of the order but didn't ship the item for nearly a month as they had problems with stock. As I understand it the distance selling regs prohibit charging before the day of dispatch (most just do an authorisation) but they were no help on the phone and quite obstructive. Finally after trying to get a refund etc the printer showed up after about 5 weeks.

    Very dissappointed with the retailer and will never buy from them again.
