  • Listen, the total spend vouchers for 75 points if you spend £10 cannot be taken back off your card and so if you return anything from that offer, doesn't matter what this is, head office get aware of this and you get a black mark against your card, I think its three and you're gone. Therefore if you are refunded for say £7 from a product you purchased only 28 pts will be taken off instead of 103, dya get me now?

Karvol Capsules, the larger pack which costs £2.99 gives you 200 points. I just checked my pack and they are suitable from 3months. I either put a capsule on my kids grobag/PJ's or on a bib attached to the cot where they will get the vapours.

The Plug in vapouriser has the 200 points but they are expensive and I'm not sure if they are effective.

I have a feeling snufflebabes may have changed now and is suitable from 6mths.

The plug in is really good, for me. Not sure about for babies unless the room is very well ventilated, as it can become over powering. plus each little pad only lasts the night.

Are there-fills in the 200points offer? How much are they?

As much as I have said they are overpowering and don'tlast long, they are really helping my problem breathing

    Thanks

    Louise

What do you mean you are off? from boots or do they take your card away from you?. What if it is realy something wrong with the product, like my some developed an allergy to the Trevor Sorvie face wash, so I return the product? do I get a black mark?

Why can't they take them off? That seems very unfair if you genuinely had to return an item and then you got a black mark (not to mention a bit childish!) if they can take of 28 points why can't they take off 75 - if this ever happens to me (I've never had to return anything yet) I will insist they take the points back so that I don't get a black mark (maybe they'll let me do lines instead)

Sorry Robb not having a go at you - just seems like a strange policy
  • It is, but its just the way things used to be, I don't know whether it has changed. But I know when I returned something because I found it cheaper, I had to call the manager and say take the points off my card because they are clamping down on it  It comes up on the computer for the store that you have visited then it gets sent to head office.
This is how Boots get on to the scams that have happened and there was a major scam that happened recently but cannot mention as it is private.

    Thanks

Hehe, Freebie_junkie, you were almost responsible for having me thrown out of the university library there. Was checking my emails earlier and kinda got sidetracked, as you do. Everything was going well until I read your post and about choked with laughter, until I remembered where I was. All eyes on me and disapproving glares from the student body of St Andrews Uni, ooops. Thanks neway, Freebie_junkie, u made my day. :rotfl:

Robb - did the scam relate to boots or boots.com, can you say that much?
