it is a bit strange how she can be devistated and agree that she is in need of help? but either way she should be very grateful she is able to have children.
i think we were very luckily to be able to have girl, boy, girl, boy, girl but regardless of the sex we would have been over the moon! What's for you won't go past you0 -
Afternoon, just gonna catch up, hope your all ok!
Back in a mo. XToo many children, too little time!!!0 -
On the other hand friends of mine had 3 girls - never planned any more although dad was a little sad to never have had a son, loves his girls to bits! Then a slight "accident" and 4th was suddenly expected - the first 3 he went out and bought boys stuff for - figured 4th would be a girl too... Sure you'll have guessed it but yup... 4th was a little boy
and he's got 4 mums due to the age gap lol
They never planned number 3 and definitely not number 4 but nature is like that... the one they definitely hadn't planned on turned out to be the boy his daddy wanted so badly (think the pinkness was starting to get to him!) and although they love all their kids I think their family feels complete now. They would have loved a girl too though... and I think that is the difference...DFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!

I agree with 3onitsway, when you have a special needs child you kind of get a different perspective. When I paid for my private scan I was desperate to see the babies brain first as the NHS scan has been too quick for me to get a good look, bubs sex was not the most important thing when you realise how things can go wrong, it makes you extra grateful for the things that go right, if that makes any sense!
Krystal, fantastic cake, hope she had a great birthday.
emlou, has your own MW not commented on the bleeding?Too many children, too little time!!!0 -
emlou i find it a bit strange your still bleeding and cramping 3 days after sweep, the first one i had i had cramps and a slight bit of bleeding on day one and then nothing after that? phoning hosp wont give you any relief either after the way they were with you the other day? hope it all happens soon for you and HUGE painfree labour vibes! xxWhat's for you won't go past you0

i left a message for my midwife but she never called me back, i dont think they bother going into the office at weekends  they dont give you a non office contact number unless you book a HB round here they just advise you to ring the hospital in a emergency. i would be panicking if little man wasnt wriggling around so much but he keeps kicking and punching me in the bladder and spine so i know he's alright in there. the bleeding has actually calmed down a fair bit now but still went on a lot longer than i'm happy with. my midwife said she would ring me tues to see if i've given birth yet and if i havent she will book me in for a induction but i'm not going to wait til tues, i'm going to call first thing monday morning and hold for a hour if needs be, i am not getting off that phone line until i have a date! shes gonna have 10 days worth of extra pregnant hormones to deal with!!:DMummy to

I just had a second roll - just to check the quality you understand! I mean the first one could have been a fluke
Now... do I also make scones or should I make those tomorrow when I MIGHT have guests popping in? Guess I better wait just in case... then I can serve home made scones still warm with cream and jam... :drool:DFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!

Hi all..
Labour vibes for emlou - plus AF and mel if you're wanting them too
Please can we have a run of punctual babies in late June / early July so I can follow that trend!
I've been outside clearing my car out - my, I eat so much junk food on the move! - and came back in to find OH watching Flashdance, dancing around the room and sorting washing! Don't know whether to be worried or grateful!0
