Sami- i felt sick from about 3 days past as well, and had a horrible metallic taste for 3 days, but it has eased a little and i feel ok if i nibble when feeling rough :)

I do know that 9 mths is a long time, but at the moment it just seems so far away.

Oh yes... More dull than you can ever imagine... Take a good book... And a DS...
And enjoy your last day in work :D

breastfeeding does not work as a contraceptive even before solids are introduced to baby's diet, despite what some FPCs would have you believe. Amazingly even after I'd given birth to no 2 in these circumstances when I went along to the FPC a few weeks after the birth, they still advised me that as I was breastfeeding I wouldn't need to use anything else for at least the first 6 months, but I wasn't taken in twice!
In order for breastfeeding to work as a contraceptive, certain conditions must be met that completely conflict with a western lifestyle... You basically have to feed the baby on demand approx every 2 hours... Day and Night... Cultures where babies are constantly carried with mothers and actively co-sleep work well because the baby often has free access to the breast and will feed a lot more often than in cultures where babies are encouraged to sleep alone for long periods of time...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

I could prob even send you my old changing table if needed!
How are you doing for big stuff like cot, pram etc? have you got a list for when SSgrant comes if ur getting it? xx

ahh yes Krystal I meant to comment on that too, How ridiculous for a health professional to say that BFing covers you for 6months!!
I'll role out my fave line here; someone should complain about that! :D

Aw, what a great friends and sounds like you have lovely work mates :A

Same about the council, but if you can't wash clothes, you'll just have to stay in your PJ's on the sofa :D
