Morning ladies, you talk so much, and i thought i spent hours on here!
Oh well, we are going to hold out a while, i have just told my family and friends that AF arrived as they are all asking! I will have to tell my mum soon as it will drive me mad. Thanks for all the advice it is good to hear your stories.

I only told a very small number of very close friends (about 3 of them) in conditions of deepest secrecy and no family until I was 12 weeks. However when I then started to tell others, it very quickly became apparent that they everyone knew already, a few more people having been told, but sworn to secrecy by the inner circle, and them in turn telling others and swearing to secrecy! In fact my being pregnant was the worst kept secret in the whole of London I think!

So, be aware, if you genuinely don't want the world to know until you are in your second trimester, the only safe option is to tell absolutely no one, however much you trust them!

:D cheers guys, you always cheer me up :D

It's always a shock when you get the letters though, he is just my little boy till a bit of paper says he is 'different'.

Nicki, I need to know if it's different in Scotland? He should be attending a main stream school and goes into preschool after the summer.

Thanks nicki, i am happy to tell people, i am soo thrilled that i am finally here, but OH is worried that things could still go wrong.

I don't think i would have worried that much about mc or problems, until i read everyones stories on here. This does not mean i am more worried now, just more aware, and yet i am very sure everything will work out. I think i just really want to tell my mum, but she is terrible at keeping secrets, so if i told her i know that half of cardiff would know very quickly! It also feels bad that my best friend knows, this is because she is a gp and i was worried my test was not real and it was an evap line, she looked at a pic and confirmed it as real. She then convinced me to test again on wed and so although OH was there when i tested she was tech the first person to know. She called me yesterday from her work calling me preggers!

On the symptom front, i suppose i do feel mildly nauseaus every day, but having had a hiatus hernia and gall stones i have that on and off anyway :) Oh and my boobs are very slightly sensitive.

I will be very grateful for not getting any more uncomfortable symptoms, but you are right popmeygirl it just doesn't feel real :)

Oh well, thanks and i will stick around as much as i can while trying to work!

    :)

I knew I was pregnant about 3 days after I conceived as that's when I had my first wave of sickness!! _pale_ thankfully I didn't get physically as sick as Tine but my god I felt rough for about 4mths!!
