according to my EDD, seth was conceived on my first day working at specsavers which amused them all muchly, they all decided that it was either so terrible that i decided to get myself pregnant so i wouldnt have to stay or it was so brilliant i had to get jiggy in celebration!!

Sami - I get a bit embarrassed but OH doesn't care if he wants it he moans til he gets it! When we were younger we used to put blankets and sleeping bag on the floor in his bedroom in case the bed made a noise - his mum's a very light sleeper!

What do people think about the story in today's papers about the pregnant woman who was thrown out of a pub because she had drunk a pint of beer, tried to order another half and been refused, and was then seen sipping from her friend's glass?

Personally, I hate to see women being hectored about what they can and can't eat, but on the other hand, she had already consumed nearly double the safe amount of alcohol in a single day in pregnancy by the time she was thrown out, so I wonder why she is so proud of this, that she wants her name and picture to be displayed to the world boasting about it!

OH and I have been sharing a bed since 18! We used to stay the night with each other, then went to uni and shared a flat although we might as well have shared a room and then started renting together at 19 after I dropped out of uni! Surprised it hasn't happened sooner actually especially since I'm sensitive to hormones so just been using *ahem* condoms for the past 2 years!

OMG it will be 10 years this Christmas - what a nice way to celebrate with Bean!

Nicki - IMO it's up to the pregnant woman if she wants to drink alcohol or not. I personally don't drink alcohol but if someone else wants to that's their choice. If pg women smoke will shops start refusing to sell them fags?!! Will supermarkets not sell liver to a pg women?!

Went for midwife appointment but never get much out of them. Not because they are crap, but never seem to learn owt new - maybe cos I have read a lot of books and because I get more scans and more consultants appointments than a single pregnancy.

Nicki - as a carrier of twins, after 5 seconds of being scaaned at my 11 week scan they immediately saw two. In fact they went looking for a third "just in case". And from your 13 week bump picture, I was nowhere as big as you are. Dunno if that helps or not!

Done me Morribobs shopping, picking hubby up tonight from work so we can go order carpets (they said can be fit before Easter - even more of a reason to get rid of builders!) and then a trip to Ikea to buy a range of furniture that will fir the loft - not keen on Ikea at all but it is only stuff that will fit!

I know I conceived one (or maybe more times than once due to no ID twins!) of four days over Aug bank hol weekend - one of those nights we had family staying and another night we got back from seeing The Killers at Leeds Fest - all four times were a case of we are tired but hop on - it is the right time!:rotfl:
