Nicki, are they sure your 'fluid' is actually fluid? My mum, when she was carrying me, had a rare thing where the fluid was actually jelly-like! Does the baby no harm (cos here I is) but won't be picked up in a scan and means that you appear larger than normal.

Both my kids will strip off whenever they can, free and easy is the way they like it :D Also, we sing the nakey song at bath time 'And now it's time to get Nakey! Da na na na! Da na na na!'

Skinty, I decided that as I would only be saving £30, just to wait and get it from mothercare (£140 delivered to the store). That way its easier if we have to swap it or it gets broken etc.

This is it here in any case.

Pop into Mothercare, tell them that's the one you want, but that you can get it cheaper on/in XXX.

I've done that and they have rooted around for any discount they can give me and applied it. After all, a sale is a sale and they would rather have your custom and £10/£20 less, than no custom at all!

We got 10% off our car seat (supposed to be £115) this way.

Oh guess what. Next door has been empty since December. It was a HA house, but it needed thousands and thousands of £££'s of work doing to it, so they moved my neighbours out.

House went up for auction yesterday. Guess who is going to be living next to a building site with lots of mess and noise for a few months? How grand will that be with a newborn?
Our next door neighbour decided to sell his house to a developer the month before Chris was born - Thanks! they left it for over a year but have just finished it, was too bad except when they rolled up at 7am and had Chris moyles blaring on the radio in the room next to Chris's  we usually get up between 8-9 so wasn't amused at that! Chris slept through the banging but wasn't a fan when there was drilling/sawing  at least it will hopefully look nice in the end x

Good idea shellsuit! Is mothercare on quidco I wonder?

Not getting it just now anyway, will wait till I get my grants :D

BP seems to have stabilised at 140ish/90, been like that all last night and today. Will be ok if it stays there. And DH has now decided to get teh day off work so he can speak to the consultant so we now we know he is worried. Oh and I had morning sickness this morning, was fine till I brushed my teeth bleurgh!

That's what I'm dreading, I don't mind them working on it, of course they'll have to, but they better not do it at silly o'clock or I may just have to become a b!tch from hell :D

You'd only get the discount if you bought in a store, BUT if Mothercare are on Quidco, see which deal is the best for you x

Oh talking about teeth, I would baulk, retch and spew every morning as soon as the toothbrush went into my mouth.....that was for about 4-5 weeks in total too, so you have my sympathy xxx

I'm 18 weeks and when I had ms it didn't bother me that much. I felt fine when I went up to brush em, and then a wee retch from nowhere. Sat down, wasn't sick, had the wattery mouth, it went away, came downstairs and then suddenly had to waddle in a hurry back upstairs with DH shouting 'Dawn! Whats Christopher to wear? Dawn! Dawn!' :rotfl: Very very random little bout.

EA - I tink this is the one I've seen about 51rACB9q+IL._SX315_SY375_.jpg
Doesn't look ver green on there but I think it is http://www.mothercare.com/gp/product/B0012Z649S/sr=1-23/qid=1238591872/ref=sr_1_23/278-5616896-1837741?ie=UTF8&m=A2LBKNDJ2KZUGQ&n=44353031&mcb=core

See I'm the opposite - putting the toothbrush in my mouth stops the MS. It's trying to ram it in before the next retch!!

She thanks god that she has nice neighbours both sides who already have conservatories, no space to build and live on a very quiet estate!!

Did I tell you about our blind in our bedroom falling down last night?!!! Apparently it's my fault! Had to help OH (who likes to think he's a DIY bod but isn't). I had to stretch up and try to hold it in place - he struggled at 5ft 10 and I'm only 5ft 1!!!! Ending up balancing on a stool - not good

Oh yeah - last night I woke up to these really bizarre fluttering in my tummy. Felt like I was one of them mini-punchbags that gets hits real quick - could this have been Bean?!! I can very often feel the blood pumping thru the placenta when I hold my hand over my stomach - I am imagining it?

Where does the time go?
