Nicki, Could it just be because it's not your first pregnancy, things have popped into place a bit quicker...0

Hypno - Searching found heat pads helped her sore back yesterday (only about £1 for 2pack in bodycare I think) although I think the best advice would be go home to your bath/bed/sofa
You can take co-codamol during preg for bad pain too

Nicki - not wanting to scare you but I have heard of someone only finding out when they popped out  I'm sure you are fine tho! Could your friend who is a midwife pop round to your house to have a feel?
I assume your dates were confirmed at your scans too?
Can you be sure its not excess fluid? one of the mums on the parent thread had a condition that meant she had more amniotic fluid than normal (didn't do any harm to either but must of made her bump bigger I'd have thought)
OMG!!!! I really would freak out if I only found out in the labour suite that there were two in there!
My friend says definitely not excess fluid because although the bump is big, its also very hard and well defined. I'm usually quite slim, and I genuinely look at the moment like a snake which has swallowed a medicine ball!
I might see if I could get her to have a feel, though its trickier than it sounds as she's a single mum who works fulltime, and I'm going to be away from the start of the school holidays which are imminent - and get back the day before my next antenatal appointment.
I've just googled though and done the babycentre test - which came back as "Yes, you might very well be" :eek:0 -

Maybe. But I was sitting beside another woman today who was 7 months pregnant (also with her third child) and I was bigger than she was!
This is me at 13 weeks exactly.

Hi Ladies,
I know I only ever seem to post when I have a question, but I'm lurking here most days reading and trying to keep up with the chat, and by the time I see something I can give a worthwhile opinion or answer to, the chats already moved on. Anyway...
A few of you mentioned recently about taking the raspberry leaf tablets instead of the tea, and this is what I want to do aswell as apart from real-life tea, I can't drink any other hot drink so would prefer the tablets. I did a quick search to see where you were getting them from at the best price, but can only seemto bring up irrelevant posts!?
Can anyone help me please? Where's the best place you've seen to get them from at reasonable price, and what were the recommended doses and when to increase this? (so I know how many to buy)
Am 30 weeks tomorrow, really feeling it now with the extra size and weight. So far still NO sickness or heartburn or anything, but an old back/hip problem seems to have been awakened and am now in some discomfort most nights. I am grateful for making it this far with no other problems though!0 -
Just told my nan about jellybean, she is happy for me and is going to knit me a blanket
Then she asked about names and i told her the girls name and she cried as her older sister was called the same name
Bless

I was really excited too, when it first started to show at around 5-6 weeks. However, now at 13+5, I've already almost outgrown a pair of maternity trousers which I bought a few weeks ago in a size bigger than my normal size! If I keep growing at this rate I won't be able to leave the house after about 5 months, because I won't be able to buy anything to fit!0 -
EA is that your actual real name on FB? Its very cool surely no one gets such a cool name at birth??
Honey - Not sure where the cheapest tabs are from but I got dosage advice from babycentre http://www.babycentre.co.uk/pregnancy/labourandbirth/planningyourbabysbirth/raspberryteaeaselabourexpert/
I can't see it on that page now though
I know that with the tea its start off at 1 cup a day and work upto 4 so I presume its the same for tabs, in that case I worked out that if I went up to 2 weeks over/ kept taking them after birth as is recomended I'd need 196 tea bags
HTH
EDIT found itIt is advisable to wait until the 32nd week of pregnancy before trying raspberry leaf tea as there is a concern that consumption before this time in the more fragile, earlier stages of pregnancy could lead to problems. Once you have reached the 32nd week of your pregnancy you could begin with one cup of raspberry leaf tea a day and gradually increase up to 4 cups or tables a day (although this may vary in accordance with the strength of the blend and the manufacturers instructions).0 -

Yeah it is lol. I changed it by deedpoll in october
The first name has always been the same.
My OH is called Felix Valentine, so the baby will have a cool birth certificate lol.I was really excited too, when it first started to show at around 5-6 weeks.
