Chris keeps getting undressed and then running/dancing around sayin "nudey nudey nudey":rotfl:
I still do this!!!
Boring day at work again. I hate the end of the financial year as we have to scrape together every last penny from the clients.
Skintchick, Beanie sometimes goes very very quiet and I panic as she's usually so active. On those days I rush home from work and have some 'tummy time' as hubby and I call it. This just means I lie on the bed stroking my belly and having some special time with beanie. Sometimes I get the doppler out and usually she reacts to being prodded with it. Hubby knows not to disturb me and he goes off to make me dinner.
Right, back to the grindstone xxxProud Mummy to Leila aged 1 whole year:j0 -
The car seat I want in now £110 on eBay (brand new) including delivery. Question is, do I trust eBay?0

Well the in laws are late... As ever... I was a bit surprised last night when they said they'd be here at 11am... We're supposed to be going to Ikea before Aimee finishes school but at this rate we just won't have time... And can't go afterwards because it's her swimming lesson night and we missed last weeks because she was poorly...
At least hubby's in the kitchen making me a pieceyA very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

He usually leaves his nappy on but today that came off too he was wiggling his hips finding it very funny that his willy was waving around! :rotfl:
He's such a bloke! He loves seeing his winky in the mirror too, always looks very proud of it ... oh Cheapskate I think they must pic up things from their daddies etc without us realising coz yesterday Chris pointed out where my nips were and said "mummy's nips" We never call them nips to his face, we call them "buttons" so he must have noticed from somewhere!
oh whomever told me about the cress seeds in tesco THANK YOU!! I found them t'other day :T I've got Chris a Tigger egg cup for easter so we can have egg n soldiers for brekkie and then plant our cress heads in the afternoon0 -
I've had a really rubbish night - not able to sleep with things going round and round in my head!
Can any of the twin mums help with this question? I know I am obsessed about how big my bump is, and that a big bump is not necessarily a sign that you are having a multiple birth, but could the twin mums please tell me when they discovered they were having more than one, and whether it was obvious from the first scan?
Everybody I meet, which includes a friend who is a GP, a friend who was a midwife, and an acquaintance who has identical twins herself takes one look at my belly, asks how far gone I am, and then says "Are you sure you aren't having twins" The mum with identical twins told me that hers weren't picked up at her 12 week scan and she didn't find out until she was 6 months pregnant   .
Last night when I was chatting briefly to my friend who was a midwife, she again told me that I was extremely large for my dates, that it definitely wasn't excess fluid, and didn't appear to be excess weight as I haven't put on anywhere else (except my boobs!) As we were in a public place obviously she couldn't have a proper feel of my belly to see whether the uterus was big for dates.
I did have a scan at 6+3 and again at 11+3, and only one was seen then, and one heartbeat heard. Am I safe to rely on this, or is there a chance that I might in fact be having more than one? My next antenatal appointment isn't for another 2 weeks and we're off on holiday next week so can't bring it forward, but it is starting to stress me out! I already have 2 kids, and wasn't banking on being a mum to 4...0 -
ok, so i've noticed I've been getting a lot of back and hip pain over the last few weeks and when i saw the midwife she dismissed it as normal and said that I should just go Pilates classes as that will strengthen my pelvis, so on Sunday I went to my first Pregnancy pilates class and the woman there was shocked as i couldn't do a lot of the positions that the other women could do and they were anything from 20-38weeks.
She told me to go back to my doctor and get seen to as soon as possible as it shouldn't be this bad (how was i to know, i've never been pregnant before?)
So this morning i saw the doctor and I've got an appointment with the Acute back pain clinic on Friday but I'm in so much pain sat at my desk now that i don;t know what to do, I keep trying to shift to somewhere more comfortable and shoving cushions under one buttock or the other to releive it but it's becoming almost impossible to sit...has anyone got any idea's of what i can do to releive it until I can see someone on Friday?0 -
by the way, thankyou all for your dress advice yesterday, 2 of the dresses i ordered have turned up so far this morning and I've still got 2 more to come and my maternity pillow arrived this morning so I'm hoping it'll help me sleep!
Sami - Sorry tohear about your dog, one of our cats is unwell at the moment and i wake up every morning half expecting her not to have made it through the night...poor baby0 -
Nicki - not wanting to scare you but I have heard of someone only finding out when they popped out  I'm sure you are fine tho! Could your friend who is a midwife pop round to your house to have a feel?
I assume your dates were confirmed at your scans too?
Can you be sure its not excess fluid? one of the mums on the parent thread had a condition that meant she had more amniotic fluid than normal (didn't do any harm to either but must of made her bump bigger I'd have thought)0
