Well i'll tell you them and you can see :)

    1. Will my pregnancy be classed as high risk? My mum had pre eclampsia twice and once it developed into eclampsia. I read somewhere that i might be classed as high risk becuase of this. Probably - def check with GP

    2. Regarding my partners peanut allergy, what do you advise? Again check with GP - but if in doubt avoid peanuts :)

    3. What is my due date, on a 28 day cycle its worked out as 27th nov. I think i may of had a 32 day cycle. (i worked it out compared to when i ovulated, i had a positive ovulation test) Don't get too hung up on this - 99% of the dates change when you have your dating scan anyway - getting worried about a few days now is pointless :)

    4. Im due to go on holiday arund the time of my 12 week scan, what will happen with it? Ask if they can avoid scheduling it from date x to date y - and hope. Your doctor isn't the one who picks your scan date - the scheduling is down to the hospitals relevant department.

    5. Tummy cramps. Normal? Yes but make sure you tell your GP and descripe the type of pain. Even if perfectly normal it's essential they know to have an accurate medical history.

Thats all i can think of so far :D Oh and was going to ask some stuff about work to. Here's a question that you may be able to answer.

When should work do my risk assesment? Told mamanger today about baby and she said they do it at 28 weeks, i questioned it and she said earliest is 12 weeks. But i thought it was asap?? I definitely had mine way before 28 weeks - what would be the point that late on! You'd be not far of going on maternity leave - earlier the better I say! Your body is already producing elastin and you need to make sure your seat etc is set up properly NOW or you'll potentially have a lot more problems later. After 12 weeks is fair enough - getting an assessment done isn't cheap and sadly lots of women miscarry before 12 weeks... Maybe try and get it scheduled for around the 14-18 weeks time frame?

    xx

Hope that helps a little bit :)

Searching there is nothing wrong with blankets as curtains :) (she says having had bedspreads from Ikea as curtains for years when I lived on my own... )

As for geeky... evenings here usually involve DH on the 360 playing GOW2 - me on the laptop (WHY we have a sky subscription sometimes baffles me). If not that then TV on and both of us on laptops - we have even been known to sit next to each other and talk on msn instead of actually speaking...
And if we're both working from home during the day we fight over the landline whilst sitting at the dining table with 4 laptops on the go - 2 each (personal and work one each) - how's that for super nerds :)

EA - I was classed as low risk but as soon as I said my Mum had Type 1 diabetes they put my straight under consultant. It's not even heriditery - OMG I can't spell.
I would think you would at least be under the consultant and MW - shared care.

Re EDD - I had one scan that put me 2 days behind my dates and then another one which put me bang on (I had a scan at 12 weeks and 13 weeks - Nuchal Fold).

    EA, a couple of things..

    3. Due date on 28 day cycle - I had a 28 day cycle and still ended up with a due date of nine days later than the textbook calculation. Either I ovulated later than the textbook day 14, or the egg hung around for aaaaages!

Risk Assessment - Mine was done at 12 weeks. Probably two reasons, they wanted to make sure I got to that point this time and they'd have to involve various people (big boss and H&S manager) too so they only wanted to do it once I'd made it more public so we weren't asking more people to keep it quiet.

Everything else, I'd say the same as what's been said by the others! :)

Well diabetes is in my family. My grandad has it, and my mum is borderline.

I go through gaming phases, although I'm probably a bit of a Girly Gamer. I've got PS3, Xbox 360, DS, Wii, very good PC, a NES and a Megadrive. Nothing better than playing games on the massive telly! I like co-op games with OH, although I seem to blow him up more than anything.

OH originally was a graphic designer for a games company, then he got into programming. Did a lot of Gameboy games.

OH doesn't play as much as he used to, I suppose sitting in front of a PC all day, last thing you want to do is get straight on the PC at home!

I wouldn't say he is a geek, more of a techno-god. Its fab, he has a great understanding of techy things, so although it costs a fortune, I know everything he gets is the ultimate. He does his research!
