    Good morning ladies!

My my another new thread! I really cant be bothered to catch up as my internet has been down for a week....it would take me just as long to catch up :D

Congratulations Weezl! And Labour vibes to those in need/or those who just want them.

I have finally met my midwife earlier this week..... I dont like her  I know its not her fault but the first time I meet her she tells me I am measuring 33weeks rather than 29weeks, I am breech, she doesnt know the GTT results, she didnt let me listen to heart beat and also she thinks I am a prime candidate for preeclampsia!! but my urine is always perfect and blood pressure is always within healthy ranges...... Grrrrrrr:mad: ....dont like her.

So my next appointment is on 02/04/09... so they cant be that worried about anything I just wish she'd keep her concerns to herself if its "nothing to get myself worried about" Why tell some one you are concerned with something if there is nothing to worry about. Grrrrrr.... Rant over.

    Lovely weather today :D

Ah ticklepenny, sounds like you got one of those 'took one look' kind of midwives... Hope she mellows for you before the next appointment! (And if she makes the 'prime candidate for preeclampsia' comment again then ask her to follow that up with a bit of evidence from your medical history rather than how you look!)
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

she did do the one look thing... I get that alot from midwives lol. I get to meet my obstetrician (sp?) on 02/04 I hope it is the nice jamaican bloke as I will spit feathers if I get another arsey female making unfounded judgements.

My OH finds it amusing that I dont have many female friends.... I get too irritated wih them. All my close friends are male. He has concluded I think like a man and am too logical to be female..... I have pointed out that I just dont like to be patronised and women have a habit of trying to do exactly that with me. No one on here i must add! Its just that real people automatically assume I know nothing, which offends me. I will stop ranting soon! I promise! Its just that I havent had internet all week to be able to rant lol :D

I don't like it, feel like I'm trapped in the lounge, Can tell the dust is coming through, as its on my fingers as I type, I'm sure the place will feel all grubby for about a month!

no no no Sami! think Positive... I'm gonna have a nice new ceiling and some new walls too in a few days! :T

Tickle I used to think like a man too :D I think I've got more girly (ie irrational and moody :p) since I've had Chris tho. I have more girl friends now, in the form of fellow mummies, dadies just aren't the same most of them aren't interested in discussing your child's poohs (you will prob laugh at that but just you 1st timers wait!)

Thank you AM.. this is why I miss interweb.... reassurance!

Yeah she squished around bump good and proper then told me to put both hands at the top of bump and press alternating hands down...... and then said "Thats your babies head" To which I said.."Oh crap, its the wrong way round". She said yup, but we will double check at your next scan.

    Yay!
